دشّن أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد بمقر الإمارة اليوم، بحضور وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة المهندس عبدالرحمن بن عبدالمحسن الفضلي، (10) مشاريع تنموية لمنظومة البيئة والمياه والزراعة في المنطقة، بكُلفة مالية تجاوزت (325) مليون ريال، ووضع حجر الأساس لـ(19) مشروعًا بكُلفة تتجاوز (825) مليون ريال خدمةً لسكان المنطقة، ودعمًا لتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية والمائية والغذائية، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وبهذه المناسبة، رفع أمير منطقة نجران الشكر والتقدير لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي عهده الأمين، على الاهتمام بكل ما من شأنه توفير الخدمات البيئية والمائية والزراعية للمواطن، منوهًا بالجهود المتواصلة من وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة، والعاملين في الوزارة والقطاعات التابعة لها، لتقديم الخدمات للمستفيدين، وتحقيق الأمن الغذائي للمملكة، مؤكدًا أن هذه المشاريع التنموية تأتي مواصلةً للدعم الكبير الذي يحظى به المواطن والمقيم بشكل عام، ومنطقة نجران بشكل خاص من لدن القيادة الحكيمة؛ لتحسين جودة الحياة، وإقامة المشاريع التي تحقق أثرًا مباشرًا على حياة الإنسان.
من جهته أكد المهندس الفضلي أن المشاريع المدشنة تأتي دعمًا لتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية والمائية والزراعية، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ورفع جودة الحياة في المنطقة، مثمنًا لأمير منطقة نجران دعمه الكبير والمتواصل لمنظومة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، الذي كان له الدور الفاعل في تسريع وتيرة تنفيذ المشاريع التنموية بالمنطقة، مبينًا أن شركة المياه الوطنية أكملت تنفيذ (6) مشاريع للمياه بكُلفة تجاوزت (201) مليون ريال، تضمنت توسعة مشروع جلب المياه لمدينة نجران والمحافظات الشمالية (المرحلة الأولى)، واستكمال شبكات مياه الشرب لمحافظة شرورة المرحلة الثانية، وتنفيذ مشروع مياه الشرب لمحافظات الشمالية يدمه، وحبونا، وبدر الجنوب، إضافة إلى إيصال خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي للجهات الحكومية والخاصة بالقطاع الجنوبي بالمنطقة، وترحيل خطوط المياه المتعارضة مع تنفيذ الأمانة بعض مشاريع درء أخطار السيول، واستكمال شبكات مياه الشرب بالمنطقة (المرحلة الثانية)، كما تضمنت المشاريع المُدشّنة تنفيذ (3) مشاريع بكُلفة تجاوزت (122) مليون ريال نفذتها شركة المياه الوطنية لإنشاء شبكات الصرف الصحي (المرحلة الثالثة والرابعة)؛ بهدف خدمة عدة أحياء بمدينة نجران، كما أكملت الوزارة تشغيل مختبر التحاليل الكيميائية للمنتجات الزراعية بنجران، بتكلفة تخطت قيمتها مليوني ريال.
إلى ذلك، شملت مشاريع وضع حجر الأساس تنفيذ شركة المياه الوطنية (9) مشاريع لتعزيز الخدمات المائية بالمنطقة، بتكلفة تجاوزت قيمتها الإجمالية (422) مليون ريال، تضمنت تنفيذ خط ناقل من خزانات الرويكبة إلى خزان المنجم غرب مدينة نجران، واستكمال شبكات مياه الشرب بمنطقة نجران عقد 3، وتنفيذ خط ناقل من محطة الضخ 2 بشمال نجران إلى مركز بئر عسكر، وإحلال وتجديد شبكة المياه بالمنطقة، وتسوير آبار ومحطات مياه بمواقع مختلفة بالمنطقة، إضافة إلى تنفيد خط ناقل من خزان حبونا إلى السرح وبوابة الاستلام بمركز الجفة بالمنطقة، وتنفيد خط ناقل من مركز قطن إلى محافظة ثار، واستكمال خزان نجران العالي والمباني الملحقة (م 3)، وكذلك استكمال ربط شبكات المياه والخطوط الناقلة وتحسينها في مواقع متفرقة من محافظات المنطقة.
ولتعزيز خدمات الصرف الصحي ودعم الاستدامة البيئية، وإزالة الضرر البيئي عن المواطنين، وضمن مشاريع وضع حجر الأساس بالمنطقة، نفذت الشركة (3) مشاريع بتكلفة تجاوزت قيمتها الإجمالية (323) مليون ريال، تضمنت استكمال شبكات الصرف الصحي بمواقع مختلفة بمدينة نجران، وتنفيذ خزانات الطوارئ لمياه الصرف الصحي للخط الناقل الرئيسي لأحياء جنوب مدينة نجران، واستكمال أعمال الملاحظات لمشروع محطة معالجة مياه الصرف الصحي بمدينة نجران، كما تنفذ الوزارة مشروع ردم وتحصين الآبار المهجورة والمكشوفة وغير المعروف أصحابها بالمنطقة؛ للحفاظ على الأرواح والممتلكات وحفظ المياه الجوفية بتكلفة تتجاوز (1.8) مليون ريال، فيما ينفذ المركز الوطني لتنمية الغطاء النباتي ومكافحة التصحر مشروع أعمال إنشاء البنى التحتية والمناطق الخدمية لمنتزه نجران الوطني بتكلفة تتجاوز (8) ملايين ريال.
وفي سبيل تعزيز التنمية المستدامة في القطاع الريفي، ودعم صغار المزارعين والمربين بالمنطقة، ينفذ برنامج التنمية الريفية الزراعية المستدامة «ريف السعودية» (5) مشاريع بتكلفة تتجاوز قيمتها (69) مليون ريال، تتضمن إنشاء وتجهيز مجمع المزارع النموذجية للإنتاج الحيواني، وإنشاء وتجهيز مركز الخدمات التسويقية للمنتجات الزراعية بالمنطقة، وتوريد وتركيب مواد لمشاتل مركز أبحاث البستنة، وتطبيق نظم الري المستدامة والتقنيات الزراعية لصغار مزارعي محاصيل الفاكهة، وإنشاء محطة تربية ملكات النحل وإنتاج الطرود بالمنطقة.
The Prince of Najran region, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, inaugurated today at the emirate's headquarters, in the presence of the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, (10) developmental projects for the environment, water, and agriculture system in the region, with a financial cost exceeding (325) million riyals. He also laid the foundation stone for (19) projects with a cost exceeding (825) million riyals to serve the residents of the region and support the achievement of environmental, water, and food sustainability, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
On this occasion, the Prince of Najran expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince, for their attention to everything that contributes to providing environmental, water, and agricultural services to citizens. He highlighted the continuous efforts of the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and the workers in the ministry and its affiliated sectors, to provide services to beneficiaries and achieve food security for the Kingdom. He affirmed that these developmental projects come as a continuation of the significant support that citizens and residents, in general, and the Najran region, in particular, receive from the wise leadership to improve the quality of life and establish projects that have a direct impact on people's lives.
For his part, Engineer Al-Fadli confirmed that the inaugurated projects support the achievement of environmental, water, and agricultural sustainability, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and enhance the quality of life in the region. He appreciated the great and continuous support of the Prince of Najran for the environment, water, and agriculture system, which played a significant role in accelerating the pace of implementing developmental projects in the region. He indicated that the National Water Company has completed the implementation of (6) water projects at a cost exceeding (201) million riyals, which included the expansion of the water supply project for Najran city and the northern governorates (Phase One), completing drinking water networks for Sharurah governorate (Phase Two), and implementing drinking water projects for the northern governorates of Yadmah, Habuna, and Badr Al-Janoub. Additionally, it included providing water and sewage services to government and private entities in the southern sector of the region, relocating water lines that conflicted with the implementation of some flood risk mitigation projects by the municipality, and completing drinking water networks in the region (Phase Two). The inaugurated projects also included the implementation of (3) projects at a cost exceeding (122) million riyals, executed by the National Water Company to establish sewage networks (Phases Three and Four) to serve several neighborhoods in Najran city. The ministry also completed the operation of the chemical analysis laboratory for agricultural products in Najran, at a cost exceeding two million riyals.
Moreover, the foundation-laying projects included the implementation of (9) projects by the National Water Company to enhance water services in the region, with a total cost exceeding (422) million riyals. These included the implementation of a transmission line from the Al-Ruwaikbah tanks to the Al-Minjim tank west of Najran city, completing drinking water networks in Najran region (Contract 3), implementing a transmission line from Pump Station 2 in northern Najran to Bir Askar center, replacing and renewing the water network in the region, fencing wells and water stations at various locations in the region, in addition to implementing a transmission line from Habuna tank to Al-Sarh and the reception gate at Al-Jafah center in the region, executing a transmission line from Qatn center to Thar governorate, and completing the high Najran tank and its associated buildings (M3), as well as completing the connection and improvement of water networks and transmission lines in various locations in the region's governorates.
To enhance sewage services and support environmental sustainability, and to remove environmental harm from citizens, the company implemented (3) projects with a total cost exceeding (323) million riyals, which included completing sewage networks at various locations in Najran city, implementing emergency tanks for sewage water for the main transmission line to the southern neighborhoods of Najran city, and completing the remarks for the sewage treatment plant project in Najran city. The ministry is also implementing a project to fill and secure abandoned and exposed wells with unknown owners in the region; to preserve lives and property and protect groundwater at a cost exceeding (1.8) million riyals, while the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification is implementing a project for the establishment of infrastructure and service areas for Najran National Park at a cost exceeding (8) million riyals.
In order to enhance sustainable development in the rural sector and support small farmers and breeders in the region, the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program "Riyadh Saudi Arabia" is implementing (5) projects at a cost exceeding (69) million riyals, which include the establishment and equipping of a model farm complex for livestock production, the establishment and equipping of a marketing services center for agricultural products in the region, supplying and installing materials for the horticultural research center's nurseries, applying sustainable irrigation systems and agricultural techniques for small fruit crop farmers, and establishing a queen bee breeding station and producing swarms in the region.
