تخريج السرية الثالثة لمنظومة «ثاد»، بعد إتمام التدريب بقاعدة فورت بليس الاميركية

The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces announced the graduation of the third company of the "THAAD" missile defense system, after its members completed the individual specialized training phases at Fort Bliss military base in El Paso, Texas, USA.

The graduation represents an extension of the previous two batches that were qualified several months ago, as part of a comprehensive plan to qualify the operation and maintenance crews for the "THAAD" system, one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world, and a fundamental pillar of the air defense system in the Kingdom.

During the training period, the graduates received intensive programs that included technical and operational training, combat simulation exercises, and advanced field exercises, under the supervision of experts from the manufacturing company and in collaboration with the American side, within the framework of the military cooperation agreements between the two countries.

The training program is part of the Ministry of Defense's strategy to enhance the capabilities of the armed forces through specialized qualification and professional training, in line with the requirements of modern operations and to elevate combat and technical readiness, achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in military modernization and technical localization.

The graduation ceremony, held at Fort Bliss military base, was attended by the commander of the First Air Defense Group, Major General Khalid Al-Zahrani, on behalf of the commander of the Air Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Mazid bin Suleiman Al-Amro, with the participation of representatives from the American side and relevant training entities.
