تواصل المؤسسة العامة للري تنفيذ خطتها التشغيلية للفترة الموسمية لعام 1446هـ - 1447هـ من خلال عملية تصريف مياه سد ثرد في منطقة الباحة؛ بهدف تعزيز كفاءة إدارة الموارد المائية والاستفادة منها.
وأوضحت المؤسسة أن الكمية المصرفة بلغت 5 ملايين متر مكعب، نُفذت بما يتوافق مع الموازنة المائية المعتمدة من وكالة المياه بوزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة، بهدف تحسين كفاءة توزيع المياه وضمان تلبية احتياجات المستفيدين في المنطقة.
وأكدت المؤسسة أن هذه الجهود تأتي في إطار دورها في إدارة وتشغيل السدود في جميع مناطق المملكة، بما يشمل التصميم والإنشاء والتشغيل والصيانة والتطوير، وبما يسهم في استدامة الموارد المائية وحفظها للأجيال القادمة، داعيةً المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الالتزام بإرشادات السلامة الصادرة عن المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، والابتعاد عن مجرى الوادي طوال فترة التصريف، مشيدة بتعاون الجهات الميدانية في إنجاح العمل.
The General Authority for Water is continuing to implement its operational plan for the seasonal period of 1446 AH - 1447 AH through the process of draining water from the Thard Dam in the Al-Baha region; with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of water resource management and benefiting from it.
The authority clarified that the amount drained reached 5 million cubic meters, carried out in accordance with the approved water budget from the Water Agency at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, aimed at improving the efficiency of water distribution and ensuring the needs of beneficiaries in the region are met.
The authority confirmed that these efforts are part of its role in managing and operating dams across all regions of the Kingdom, including design, construction, operation, maintenance, and development, contributing to the sustainability of water resources and preserving them for future generations. It urged citizens and residents to adhere to the safety guidelines issued by the General Directorate of Civil Defense and to stay away from the riverbed throughout the drainage period, praising the cooperation of field agencies in ensuring the success of the work.
