توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم -بمشيئة الله تعالى- هطول أمطار رعدية غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، ومتوسطة إلى غزيرة على أجزاء من مناطق مكة المكرمة، المدينة المنورة ونجران، ولا يستبعد تكون الضباب على أجزاء من مرتفعات تلك المناطق، في حين لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية خفيفة إلى متوسطة مصحوبة برياح نشطة تحد من مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الأجزاء الجنوبية من منطقتي الرياض والشرقية.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط تتحول مساءً جنوبية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الأوسط بسرعة 15-35 كم/ساعة، تصل إلى 45 كم/ساعة باتجاه خليج العقبة، وجنوبية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 15-40 كم/ساعة، تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كم/ساعة، مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي والأوسط، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين.
وتكون حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة 12-32 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology anticipated in its weather report today -God willing- the occurrence of heavy thunderstorm rains leading to flooding, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, with moderate to heavy rains in parts of the Makkah, Madinah, and Najran regions. The formation of fog in parts of the highlands of those areas is also not ruled out, while the opportunity remains for light to moderate thunderstorm rains accompanied by active winds that limit horizontal visibility in the southern parts of the Riyadh and Eastern regions.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, shifting in the evening to southerly to southwesterly in the central part at a speed of 15-35 km/h, reaching 45 km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba, and southerly to southwesterly in the southern part at a speed of 15-40 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h, with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern and central parts, and wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching over two meters.
The surface wind movement over the Arabian Gulf is northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 12-32 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition is lightly wavy.
