أثنى مفتي عام المملكة رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للبحوث العلمية الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله آل الشيخ، على تبرع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، بالدم، ضمن الحملة السنوية للتبرع بالدم التي أطلقها ولي العهد، مشيرًا إلى أن هذه الحملة تأتي امتدادًا لجهود قيادة المملكة الرشيدة في رعاية العمل الإنساني، الذي يعدّ سمة من سمات هذه الدولة المباركة التي قامت على الشريعة وجعلت دستورها القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية.
وقال المفتي في تصريح بهذه المناسبة، إن الشريعة الإسلامية تحث على البذل والعطاء والإسهام في إحياء الأنفس كما جاء في قوله تعالى: (ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعًا)، ووردت أدلة كثيرة من القرآن الكريم، والسنة النبوية تدل على فضل الإحسان إلى الناس ومساعدتهم، وتفريج كرباتهم، وهذه الأدلة بعمومها تشمل التبرع بالدم حيث قال الله تعالى: (وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ).
وأشاد بمضامين الحملة الوطنية للتبرع بالدم التي يقودها عراب رؤية الخير والعطاء ولي العهد وتهدف إلى تعزيز الوعي بأهمية التبرع الطوعي بالدم، وتحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي من الدم ومكوناته، لضمان توفير إمدادات آمنة ومستدامة تلبي احتياجات المستفيدين في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
ونوه باللفتة الكريمة لتبرع ولي العهد والتي تأتي تجسيدًا للقدوة الحسنة في العمل الإنساني من ولاة الأمور في مملكتنا الغالية التي تنعم بولاية راشدة تحمل الخير والعطاء وتتسم بتجسيد القيم الإنسانية النبيلة التي يحث الإسلام على تعزيزها تحفيزًا لأفراد المجتمع على تبني ثقافة العطاء.
ودعا المفتي عموم المواطنين والمقيمين إلى المشاركة في هذه المبادرة و دعمها للإسهام في إحياء النفوس والتخفيف من معاناة المرضى الذين يحتاجون للتبرع بالدم في المستشفيات، سائلًا المولى تعالى أن يحفظ قيادة المملكة وأن يديم عليها نعمة الأمن والأمان والاستقرار.
The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Scientific Research, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, praised the donation of blood by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as part of the annual blood donation campaign launched by the Crown Prince. He pointed out that this campaign is an extension of the efforts of the wise leadership of the Kingdom in caring for humanitarian work, which is a hallmark of this blessed state that is founded on Sharia and has made the Holy Quran and the Sunnah its constitution.
The Mufti stated in a statement on this occasion that Islamic Sharia encourages generosity, giving, and contributing to the preservation of lives, as mentioned in His saying: (And whoever saves one [a life] - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely). There are many evidences from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah that indicate the virtue of doing good to people, helping them, and alleviating their hardships. These evidences generally include blood donation, as Allah Almighty said: (And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good).
He praised the themes of the national blood donation campaign led by the architect of the vision of goodness and giving, the Crown Prince, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and achieve self-sufficiency in blood and its components, to ensure the provision of safe and sustainable supplies that meet the needs of beneficiaries in various regions of the Kingdom.
He highlighted the kind gesture of the Crown Prince's donation, which embodies the good example in humanitarian work from the leaders of our beloved Kingdom, which enjoys wise governance that brings goodness and giving and is characterized by embodying the noble human values that Islam encourages to enhance, motivating individuals in the community to adopt a culture of giving.
The Mufti called on all citizens and residents to participate in this initiative and support it to contribute to preserving lives and alleviating the suffering of patients who need blood donations in hospitals, asking Allah Almighty to protect the leadership of the Kingdom and to continue blessing it with security, safety, and stability.
