يشارك المنتخب السعودي في منافسات النسخة الـ(20) من الأولمبياد الدولي للمواصفات (ISO 2025)، التي تستضيفها مدينة إنشيون بكوريا الجنوبية خلال الفترة (12- 14) أغسطس 2025، بمشاركة (40) فريقا من مختلف دول العالم.
ويُعد الأولمبياد مسابقة دولية سنوية مخصصة لطلبة المرحلتين المتوسطة والثانوية، وتستضيفها كوريا الجنوبية منذ عام 2006؛ بهدف تعزيز الوعي بمفاهيم المواصفات والمقاييس والجودة، وتشجيع الطلبة على تبادل الأفكار الجديدة حول المعايير والتكنولوجيا.
ويُمثّل المملكة في هذه الدورة 4 فرق طلابية من المرحلتين المتوسطة والثانوية، تم إعدادهم وترشيحهم للمنافسة من خلال برامج تدريبية وتأهيلية مكثفة، ضمن شراكة إستراتيجية بين مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة»، ووزارة التعليم، والهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة.
ويضم فريق الطالبات من المرحلة المتوسطة كلّا من ميان زهير خان من تعليم منطقة مكة المكرمة، ووجد إيهاب حسوبة من تعليم منطقة المدينة المنورة، ويَمان أيمن الزهر من تعليم منطقة عسير، أما فريق الطالبات من المرحلة الثانوية، فيتكون من سلاف أحمد الرقيبة من تعليم منطقة القصيم، وعريب نواف العتيبي من تعليم منطقة المدينة المنورة، وفاطمة صالح آل بن صالح من تعليم المنطقة الشرقية.
ويشارك في فريق الطلاب من المرحلة المتوسطة كلٌّ من علي مهدي العجاج وفواز خالد القحطاني من تعليم المنطقة الشرقية، وطلال مسفر القحطاني من تعليم منطقة الرياض، في حين يضم فريق الطلاب من المرحلة الثانوية خالد محمد الزهراني من تعليم المنطقة الشرقية، وعايض مريع القحطاني من تعليم منطقة عسير، وفيصل تركي المليباري من تعليم منطقة مكة المكرمة.
وتأتي مشاركة المملكة في هذه النسخة امتدادا لمشاركتها الأولى في نسخة 2024، التي حققت خلالها ميدالية برونزية وشهادة تقدير، في إنجاز يعكس الإمكانات الواعدة للطلبة السعوديين في مجالات المواصفات والمقاييس والجودة، كما تُجسد هذه المشاركة التزام المملكة المستمر بنشر ثقافة الجودة والمعايير لدى النشء، ضمن رؤية وطنية طموحة تسعى إلى بناء جيل واعٍ ومتمكن في مجال المواصفات.
وتتضمن آلية مسابقة الأولمبياد الدولي للمواصفات سلسلة من الجولات التمهيدية التي تقود إلى المنافسة النهائية، حيث يُكلف المشاركون بمهمات مصممة لتحفيز معارفهم ومهاراتهم في عالم المواصفات، ضمن بيئة تفاعلية دولية تشجع الابتكار والعمل الجماعي.
The Saudi national team participates in the 20th edition of the International Standards Olympiad (ISO 2025), hosted by the city of Incheon in South Korea from August 12 to 14, 2025, with the participation of 40 teams from various countries around the world.
The Olympiad is an annual international competition dedicated to middle and high school students, hosted by South Korea since 2006, aimed at enhancing awareness of the concepts of standards, measurements, and quality, and encouraging students to exchange new ideas about standards and technology.
The Kingdom is represented in this edition by 4 student teams from middle and high school, who have been prepared and nominated for competition through intensive training and qualification programs, as part of a strategic partnership between the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba," the Ministry of Education, and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
The middle school girls' team includes Mian Zahir Khan from the Makkah region, Wajd Ihab Hasouba from the Madinah region, and Yaman Ayman Al-Zahr from the Asir region. The high school girls' team consists of Sulaf Ahmed Al-Ruqayba from the Qassim region, Areeb Nawaf Al-Otaibi from the Madinah region, and Fatima Saleh Al-Bin Saleh from the Eastern region.
The middle school boys' team includes Ali Mahdi Al-Ajjaj and Fawaz Khalid Al-Qahtani from the Eastern region, and Talal Musfer Al-Qahtani from the Riyadh region, while the high school boys' team comprises Khalid Mohammed Al-Zahrani from the Eastern region, A'id Mura'i Al-Qahtani from the Asir region, and Faisal Turki Al-Mulibari from the Makkah region.
The Kingdom's participation in this edition is an extension of its first participation in the 2024 edition, during which it achieved a bronze medal and a certificate of appreciation, reflecting the promising potential of Saudi students in the fields of standards, measurements, and quality. This participation also embodies the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of quality and standards among the youth, as part of an ambitious national vision aimed at building a conscious and capable generation in the field of standards.
The mechanism of the International Standards Olympiad competition includes a series of preliminary rounds leading to the final competition, where participants are assigned tasks designed to stimulate their knowledge and skills in the world of standards, within an interactive international environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
