استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الأحد)، رئيس جامعة حفر الباطن الأستاذ الدكتور خالد بن باني الحربي، يرافقه عدد من طلبة الجامعة المتميزين الحاصلين على جوائز دولية.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بالدعم السخي الذي توليه القيادة للتعليم، باعتباره الركيزة الأساسية لبناء الإنسان وتنمية الوطن، مشيراً إلى أن هذا الدعم كان له بالغ الأثر في تطور منظومة التعليم ورفع مستوى مخرجاتها، بما مكن أبناء الوطن من التميز والمنافسة عالمياً.
وقال: «ما نشهده من تفوق لأبناء هذا الوطن في المحافل الدولية، ثمرة لما تقدمه قيادتنا الرشيدة -رعاها الله- من دعم مستمر واهتمام بالغ بالتعليم، إيماناً منها بأنه الركيزة الأساسية في بناء الإنسان وتنمية الوطن، ونحن فخورون بما حققه طلبة جامعة حفر الباطن من إنجازات مشرّفة، تعكس جودة المنظومة التعليمية وقدرتها على اكتشاف المواهب وصقلها، وتحفيز الإبداع والابتكار. ونعوّل كثيراً على الجامعات السعودية في مواصلة هذا النهج، وتعزيز البيئة الأكاديمية بما يسهم في إعداد جيل وطني منافس وقادر على المساهمة بفاعلية في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030».
وأوضح الدكتور الحربي أن طلبة الجامعة حققوا ست جوائز عالمية في معرض «إيتكس 2025»، إضافة إلى ثلاث جوائز في الدورة الخمسين من معرض جنيف الدولي للاختراعات، ما يجسد تميز الجامعة في دعم الإبداع والابتكار، ويعكس كفاءة منظومتها الأكاديمية.
ورفع رئيس الجامعة شكره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه واهتمامه المستمر بالجامعة، مؤكداً أن هذا الدعم يشكّل حافزاً لمنسوبي الجامعة وطلبتها لمواصلة مسيرة التميز وتحقيق المزيد من النجاحات في المحافل الدولية.
حضر الاستقبال الطلبة المتميزون الحاصلون على الجوائز الدولية، وهم: شهد بنت محمد العماني، تركي بن عبدالله العنزي، ريام بنت عقيل العتيبي، خالد بن جمال العنزي، رنيم بنت زايد العنزي، تقديراً لمشاركاتهم وابتكاراتهم النوعية في معرض «إيتكس 2025»، ومعرض جنيف الدولي للاختراعات.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received today (Sunday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan, the President of Hafr Al-Batin University, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi, accompanied by a number of distinguished university students who have won international awards.
The Prince praised the generous support provided by the leadership for education, considering it the cornerstone for building individuals and developing the nation. He pointed out that this support has had a significant impact on the development of the education system and the improvement of its outputs, enabling the nation's youth to excel and compete globally.
He said: “What we witness in terms of the excellence of the sons of this nation in international forums is the fruit of the continuous support and great interest that our wise leadership - may God protect it - provides for education, believing that it is the fundamental pillar in building individuals and developing the nation. We are proud of the achievements of Hafr Al-Batin University students, which reflect the quality of the educational system and its ability to discover and refine talents, as well as to stimulate creativity and innovation. We rely heavily on Saudi universities to continue this approach and to enhance the academic environment in a way that contributes to preparing a competitive national generation capable of effectively contributing to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
Dr. Al-Harbi explained that the university students have achieved six international awards at the “ITEX 2025” exhibition, in addition to three awards at the fiftieth session of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, which embodies the university's excellence in supporting creativity and innovation and reflects the efficiency of its academic system.
The university president expressed his gratitude to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his continuous support and interest in the university, affirming that this support serves as an incentive for the university's staff and students to continue their journey of excellence and achieve more successes in international forums.
Present at the reception were the distinguished students who received international awards: Shahd bint Mohammed Al-Omani, Turki bin Abdullah Al-Anzi, Riam bint Aqeel Al-Otaibi, Khalid bin Jamal Al-Anzi, and Raneem bint Zayed Al-Anzi, in recognition of their contributions and quality innovations at the “ITEX 2025” exhibition and the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.
