تمكّنت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك (زاتكا) في منفذ البطحاء من إحباط محاولتي تهريب 817,733 حبة محظورة، عثُر عليها مخبأة في شاحنتين قدمتا إلى المملكة عبر المنفذ.
وأوضحت «زاتكا» أنه في المحاولة الأولى تمكّن المنفذ من إحباط محاولة تهريب 797,647 حبة من مادة الإمفيتامين المخدر (الكبتاجون) عُثر عليها مُخبأة بداخل تجويف الإطار الخلفي لإحدى الشاحنات، وفي المحاولة الثانية تمكّن المنفذ من إحباط محاولة تهريب 20,086 حبة محظورة، عُثر عليها مخبأة في أجزاء من الشاحنة القادمة إلى المملكة عبر المنفذ.
وأكدت «زاتكا» أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، وتقف بالمرصاد أمام محاولات أرباب التهريب، وذلك تحقيقًا لأبرز ركائز استراتيجيتها المتمثلة في تعزيز أمن وحماية المجتمع بالحد من محاولات تهريب مثل هذه الآفات وغيرها من الممنوعات.
ودعت «زاتكا» الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني
(Email:1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910) حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at the Al-Bathaa border has succeeded in thwarting two attempts to smuggle 817,733 prohibited pills, which were found hidden in two trucks that entered the Kingdom through the border.
ZATCA explained that in the first attempt, the border managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle 797,647 pills of the narcotic substance amphetamine (captagon) found hidden inside the cavity of the rear tire of one of the trucks. In the second attempt, the border was able to thwart an attempt to smuggle 20,086 prohibited pills, which were found hidden in parts of the truck coming to the Kingdom through the border.
ZATCA confirmed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom's imports and exports, standing vigilant against the attempts of smugglers, in line with one of the main pillars of its strategy, which is to enhance the security and protection of society by reducing attempts to smuggle such harmful substances and other prohibited items.
ZATCA called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email
(Email:1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910), where the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system through these channels with complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
