وجه محافظ الطائف الأمير سعود بن نهار بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز بإغلاق منتجع بالمحافظة شهد سقوط إحدى الألعاب والتحقيق في ملابسات الحادثة التي نتج عنها وقوع عدد من الإصابات، حيث تم التعامل مع بعضها في الموقع وتلقت الإسعافات اللازمة، فيما نُقلت أخرى للمستشفى لاستكمال العلاج اللازم، علما بأنه لم تسجل أي وفيات ولله الحمد.
وكانت المحافظة شهدت مساء أمس سقوط لعبة دوارة كبيرة داخل أحد المنتجعات الترفيهية.
وباشرت كافة الجهات المعنية الحادثة في حينها، حيث تم نقل المصابين إلى المستشفيات لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، فيما تم إجراء الإسعافات الأولية لبعض الحالات في الموقع دون تسجيل أية حالات وفاة.
