أكد وزير الإعلام سلمان الدوسري أن الإعلام السعودي بمؤسساته كافة أصبح اليوم أكثر قوة وتأثيراً بفضل تمكين القيادة، مشيراً إلى أن عام 2030 لم يعد مجرد تاريخ قادم، بل رمز لطموح لا حدود له.
وكشف الدوسري في المؤتمر الصحفي الحكومي الذي جمعه أمس (الأربعاء) بوزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة عبد الرحمن الفضلي عن قرب إطلاق الاستراتيجية الوطنية للإعلام، في وقت تتصدر فيه المملكة الترتيب العالمي في نمو إيرادات السياح الدوليين خلال الربع الأول من عام 2025.
وأشار إلى أن حجم الاقتصاد الرقمي السعودي بلغ 495 مليار ريال في عام 2024، مساهماً بنسبة 15% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، ما يعكس تسارع التحول الرقمي وصناعة خوارزميات المستقبل محلياً.
وأضاف وزير الاعلام أن عدد الشركات التقنية المدرجة في السوق المالية ارتفع إلى 23 شركة في عام 2024، مقارنة بشركتين فقط عام 2020، موضحاً أن النمو يترجم مكانة المملكة الريادية في الابتكار والتحول التقني.
وعلى الصعيد الإنساني، بيّن الدوسري أن المملكة قدمت أكثر من 30 مليار ريال مساعدات إنسانية شملت 108 دول عبر 3500 برنامج ومبادرة، فيما نفذ البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن مشروعات تجاوزت قيمتها 4.27 مليارات ريال، إضافة إلى إجراء 230 ألف عملية جراحية تطوعية بمشاركة أكثر من 80 ألف متطوع ومتطوعة..
من جانبه استعرض وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة المهندس عبدالرحمن الفضلي أبرز منجزات قطاع البيئة والمياه والزراعة، مؤكداً إعادة تأهيل أكثر من 500 ألف هكتار من الأراضي المتدهورة وزراعة 151.3 مليون شجرة ضمن جهود المملكة لتحقيق مستهدفات مبادرة السعودية الخضراء.
وأوضح الفضلي خلال المؤتمر الصحفي أن عدد المتنزهات الوطنية ارتفع إلى 500 متنزه لدعم السياحة البيئية، فيما قفزت نسبة المناطق المحمية البرية إلى 18% من مساحة المملكة، بزيادة تجاوزت أربعة أضعاف مقارنة بالفترات السابقة.
وأشار الوزير الفضلي إلى إطلاق المركز الإقليمي لدراسات التغير المناخي كأول مركز من نوعه في الشرق الأوسط، إلى جانب اختيار المملكة من لجنة الأمم المتحدة للمياه كنموذج عالمي في استدامة المياه، مبيناً أن إنتاج المياه زاد بنسبة 100% لمواكبة الطلب المتنامي. ولفت إلى أن مشروع الاستمطار الصناعي نفذ 711 طلعة جوية في عدة مناطق، في حين تمتلك المملكة اليوم ثلاث محطات متنقلة وعائمة لتحلية المياه، إضافة إلى تأسيس صندوق البيئة الذي يُعد الأكبر في المنطقة.
وبيّن الفضلي أن الوزارة تعتزم إطلاق برنامج الإنذار المبكر للسلع الغذائية الأساسية قريباً، مشيراً إلى أن قروض التنمية الزراعية تجاوزت سبعة مليارات ريال في عام 2024، واستفاد 79 ألف مواطن من برنامج المنتجات الريفية.
وأكد وزير البيئة أن الوزارة تعمل على بناء 1000 سد للاستفادة من مياه الأمطار، ورفع ساعات الخزن الإستراتيجي بنسبة 600%، إضافة إلى إعادة توطين أكثر من 8 آلاف كائن فطري مهدد بالانقراض.
Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari confirmed that Saudi media, with all its institutions, has become stronger and more influential today thanks to the empowerment of leadership, noting that the year 2030 is no longer just a coming date, but a symbol of limitless ambition.
Al-Dosari revealed at the government press conference held yesterday (Wednesday) with Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, the imminent launch of the national media strategy, at a time when the Kingdom is leading the global ranking in the growth of international tourist revenues during the first quarter of 2025.
He pointed out that the size of the Saudi digital economy reached 495 billion riyals in 2024, contributing 15% to the GDP, reflecting the acceleration of digital transformation and the development of future algorithms locally.
The Minister of Media added that the number of technology companies listed in the financial market increased to 23 companies in 2024, compared to only two companies in 2020, explaining that this growth translates the Kingdom's pioneering position in innovation and technological transformation.
On the humanitarian front, Al-Dosari indicated that the Kingdom has provided more than 30 billion riyals in humanitarian aid covering 108 countries through 3,500 programs and initiatives, while the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has implemented projects worth over 4.27 billion riyals, in addition to conducting 230,000 voluntary surgical operations with the participation of more than 80,000 volunteers.
For his part, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli reviewed the key achievements of the environment, water, and agriculture sector, confirming the rehabilitation of more than 500,000 hectares of degraded land and the planting of 151.3 million trees as part of the Kingdom's efforts to achieve the targets of the Saudi Green Initiative.
Al-Fadhli explained during the press conference that the number of national parks has increased to 500 parks to support eco-tourism, while the percentage of protected terrestrial areas has jumped to 18% of the Kingdom's area, an increase of more than four times compared to previous periods.
Minister Al-Fadhli pointed out the launch of the regional center for climate change studies as the first of its kind in the Middle East, in addition to the Kingdom being selected by the United Nations Water Committee as a global model for water sustainability, indicating that water production has increased by 100% to meet the growing demand. He noted that the artificial rain project has conducted 711 aerial sorties in several regions, while the Kingdom today has three mobile and floating desalination stations, in addition to establishing the largest environmental fund in the region.
Al-Fadhli indicated that the ministry intends to launch an early warning program for essential food commodities soon, noting that agricultural development loans exceeded seven billion riyals in 2024, benefiting 79,000 citizens from the rural products program.
The Minister of Environment confirmed that the ministry is working on building 1,000 dams to benefit from rainwater, raising strategic storage hours by 600%, in addition to the reintroduction of more than 8,000 endangered species.
