استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الأحد)، الدكتور نبيل بن محمد العامودي، رئيس مجلس الأمناء لجامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، يرافقه الأستاذ الدكتور فهد بن أحمد الحربي، بمناسبة تكليفه رئيساً للجامعة.
وأكد أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن قطاع التعليم يحظى بدعم ورعاية القيادة الرشيدة انطلاقاً من إيمانها بأن تنمية الإنسان هي الأساس في بناء الوطن وتحقيق تطلعاته المستقبلية، مشيراً إلى أن الجامعات تمثل ركيزة أساسية في إعداد الكفاءات الوطنية وتأهيلها للمساهمة في دفع عجلة التنمية، مهنئاً الدكتور الحربي على تكليفه رئيساً للجامعة، متمنياً له التوفيق والنجاح في مهمات عمله.
وقدم الدكتور العامودي لأمير المنطقة الشرقية شرحاً عن أبرز المشاريع والبرامج التي نفذتها الجامعة لتعزيز المنظومة التعليمية في المنطقة، والمساهمة الفاعلة في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، من خلال تطوير البيئة التعليمية، والاهتمام بالبحث العلمي، والشراكات مع القطاعين العام والخاص.
من جانبه، رفع الدكتور الحربي، رئيس الجامعة، شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه وتوجيهاته السديدة، مؤكدًا حرص الجامعة على مواصلة مسيرتها في تحقيق التميز الأكاديمي وتعزيز دورها المجتمعي، مشيرا إلى أن الجامعة تعمل على مبادرة ريادة الجامعات التي ستؤدي إلى دعم مخرجات الجامعة وتعزيز التخصصات والبرامج النوعية المتوائمة مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأشار الحربي إلى أن الجامعة تواصل تعزيز مكانتها بين الجامعات الرائدة محليًا ودوليًا، من خلال منجزات نوعية في مجالات البحث العلمي، وبراءات الاختراع، والاعتمادات الأكاديمية، وذلك بدعم القيادة وبتكامل جهود منسوبي الجامعة وطلبتها، انسجامًا مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in his office at the Emirate's Diwan today (Sunday), accompanied by Professor Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, on the occasion of his appointment as President of the University.
The Prince of the Eastern Province affirmed that the education sector enjoys the support and care of the wise leadership, stemming from their belief that human development is the foundation for building the nation and achieving its future aspirations. He pointed out that universities represent a fundamental pillar in preparing and qualifying national competencies to contribute to driving the development wheel, congratulating Dr. Al-Harbi on his appointment as President of the University, wishing him success and achievement in his duties.
Dr. Al-Amoudi presented to the Prince of the Eastern Province an overview of the most prominent projects and programs implemented by the university to enhance the educational system in the region and actively contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, through developing the educational environment, focusing on scientific research, and fostering partnerships with the public and private sectors.
For his part, Dr. Al-Harbi, the University President, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his support and wise guidance, emphasizing the university's commitment to continue its journey in achieving academic excellence and enhancing its community role. He noted that the university is working on the University Leadership Initiative, which will support the university's outputs and enhance the specializations and quality programs aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Harbi pointed out that the university continues to strengthen its position among leading universities both locally and internationally, through qualitative achievements in the fields of scientific research, patents, and academic accreditations, supported by the leadership and the integrated efforts of the university's staff and students, in harmony with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
