دعت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني إلى أخذ الحيطة والحذر، وضرورة البقاء في أماكن آمنة والابتعاد عن أماكن تجمُّع السيول والأودية وعدم السباحة فيها، والالتزام بالتعليمات المعلنة عبر وسائل الإعلام المختلفة ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، لهطول الأمطار الرعدية على بعض مناطق المملكة، اعتباراً من اليوم (الأحد) حتى الخميس القادم.
وأوضحت أن منطقة مكة المكرمة ستتأثر بأمطار متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول وتساقط البرد ورياح هابطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار، تشمل الطائف وميسان وأضم والعرضيات، وخفيفة إلى متوسطة تشمل مكة المكرمة والجموم والمويه وتربة ورنية والليث والقنفذة.
وأشارت المديرية إلى أن مناطق جازان نجران وعسير والباحة ستتأثر بأمطار متوسطة إلى غزيرة.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution and vigilance, emphasizing the necessity to stay in safe places and avoid areas where floods and valleys gather, as well as refraining from swimming in them. It also urged adherence to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms, regarding the thunderstorms expected in some regions of the Kingdom, starting today (Sunday) until next Thursday.
It clarified that the Makkah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to flooding, hail, and descending winds that stir up dust and sand, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat. Light to moderate rains will affect Makkah, Al-Jumum, Al-Muwaiah, Turbah, Rania, Al-Lith, and Al-Qunfudhah.
The directorate pointed out that the regions of Jazan, Najran, Asir, and Al-Baha will be affected by moderate to heavy rains.
