تمكّنت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك «زاتكا» في مطار الملك خالد الدولي من إحباط محاولتي تهريب أكثر من 69 ألف حبة من مادة «الإمفيتامين» المخدر «الكبتاجون»، عُثر عليها مُخبأة داخل ملابس مسافرَين اثنين قدما إلى المملكة عبر المطار.
وأوضحت «زاتكا» أنه في المحاولة الأولى تم إحباط 34,588 حبة، عُثر عليها مُخبأة داخل ملابس أحد الركاب القادمين إلى المملكة عبر إحدى الرحلات، وفي المحاولة الثانية تم إحباط 34,457 حبة كانت مُخبأة بنفس الطريقة التي تمت في المحاولة السابقة.
وأكّدت «زاتكا» أنها ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، وتقف بالمرصاد أمام محاولات أرباب التهريب، وذلك تحقيقًا لأبرز ركائز إستراتيجيتها المتمثلة في تعزيز أمن وحماية المجتمع بالحد من محاولات تهريب مثل هذه الآفات وغيرها من الممنوعات.
ودعت «زاتكا» الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910)، حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority "ZATCA" at King Khalid International Airport managed to thwart two smuggling attempts of more than 69,000 pills of the narcotic substance "amphetamine" known as "Captagon," which were found hidden inside the clothing of two travelers who arrived in the Kingdom through the airport.
ZATCA explained that in the first attempt, 34,588 pills were seized, which were found hidden inside the clothing of one of the passengers arriving in the Kingdom on one of the flights. In the second attempt, 34,457 pills were seized, which were hidden in the same manner as in the previous attempt.
ZATCA confirmed that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the imports and exports of the Kingdom and stands ready to confront the attempts of smugglers, in line with one of the main pillars of its strategy, which is to enhance the security and protection of society by reducing attempts to smuggle such harmful substances and other prohibited items.
ZATCA called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910). Through these channels, the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system in complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
