أعلنت وزارة التعليم، بالشراكة مع أكاديمية طويق، افتتاح مدارس الموهوبين التقنية في 5 إدارات تعليمية شملت الرياض، المدينة المنورة، المنطقة الشرقية، القصيم، جدة، وذلك بدءًا من العام الدراسي 1447، مخصصة لطلاب وطالبات الصف الأول الثانوي.
ويأتي هذا التوسع بعد تدشين أول مدرسة ثانوية حكومية متخصصة في التقنية للمواهب في السعودية في الرياض في نهاية ديسمبر 2024 بالشراكة بين الجهتين، بصفته نموذجاً تعليمياً مبتكراً يدمج بين المنهج الدراسي المعتمد والبرامج التقنية المتخصصة ضمن بيئة تعليمية محفزة، تستهدف تنمية المواهب في مجالات حيوية تشمل: علوم الحاسب، الذكاء الاصطناعي، الميكاترونيكس، والأمن السيبراني.
وتشتمل التجربة التعليمية كذلك على مسارات تطويرية داعمة، من أبرزها: البرنامج التقني المكثف، برنامج مهارات التفكير، وبرنامج المهارات القيادية، إضافة إلى أنشطة تكميلية مثل: المنافسات العلمية، البرامج الصيفية، والفعاليات الترفيهية التي تسهم في بناء شخصية تقنية متكاملة.

The Ministry of Education, in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy, announced the opening of technical schools for gifted students in 5 educational administrations, including Riyadh, Medina, the Eastern Province, Qassim, and Jeddah, starting from the 1447 academic year, designated for first-year secondary school students.
This expansion follows the launch of the first public secondary school specialized in technology for talents in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh at the end of December 2024, as a partnership between the two entities, serving as an innovative educational model that integrates the approved curriculum with specialized technical programs within a stimulating educational environment, aimed at developing talents in vital fields including: computer science, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and cybersecurity.
The educational experience also includes supportive developmental pathways, among which are: the intensive technical program, the thinking skills program, and the leadership skills program, in addition to complementary activities such as: scientific competitions, summer programs, and recreational events that contribute to building a well-rounded technical personality.
This direction reflects the efforts of the Ministry of Education to empower a promising generation equipped with the necessary digital and technical skills, keeping pace with the requirements of the digital economy and national transformation, by enhancing practices of learning, innovation, and scientific research in an advanced educational environment.
