تمكّنت هيئة الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك في ميناء جدة الإسلامي من إحباط محاولة تهريب 310 آلاف حبة من مادة «الإمفيتامين» المخدر (الكبتاجون)، عُثر عليها مُخبأة في إحدى المركبات القادمة إلى المملكة عبر الميناء.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم الهيئة حمود الحربي أنه عند إجراء عملية الكشف والمعاينة لإحدى المركبات الواردة عبر ميناء جدة الإسلامي عُثر على تلك الكمية من الحبوب مُخبأة بداخل أماكن متفرقة بالمركبة.
وأضاف الحربي أنه بعد إتمام عملية الضبط، جرى التنسيق مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات، حيث تم القبض على مستقبلي المضبوطات داخل المملكة البالغ عددهم 8 أشخاص.
وأكد المتحدث أن الهيئة عبر منافذها الجمركية ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقًا لأمن المجتمع وحمايته من هذه الآفات، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات.
ودعا المتحدث باسم الهيئة الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (1910@zatca.gov.sa) والرقم الدولي (009661910)، حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority at the Islamic Port of Jeddah managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle 310,000 pills of the drug "amphetamine" (captagon), which were found hidden in one of the vehicles coming to the Kingdom through the port.
The spokesperson for the authority, Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that during the inspection and examination of one of the vehicles arriving at the Islamic Port of Jeddah, that quantity of pills was found hidden in various places within the vehicle.
Al-Harbi added that after completing the seizure process, coordination was made with the General Directorate for Drug Control, where eight individuals receiving the seized items inside the Kingdom were arrested.
The spokesperson confirmed that the authority is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom's imports and exports through its customs outlets, in order to ensure community security and protect it from these scourges, in continuous cooperation and coordination with the General Directorate for Drug Control.
The spokesperson urged everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (1910@zatca.gov.sa) and the international number (009661910), as the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the Unified Customs System through these channels with complete confidentiality, offering a financial reward for the informant if the information provided is accurate.
