صدرت الموافقة السامية الكريمة على تكليف الأستاذ الدكتور فهد بن أحمد الحربي رئيساً لجامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، وذلك بناءً على ما رفعه وزير التعليم رئيس مجلس شؤون الجامعات، في خطوة تعكس ما يحظى به قطاع التعليم الجامعي من دعم وعناية من لدن القيادة الرشيدة -أيدها الله- انطلاقاً من إيمانها الراسخ بأهمية هذا القطاع الحيوي في بناء الإنسان وتنمية الوطن.
وبهذه المناسبة، رفع الدكتور فهد بن أحمد الحربي أسمى آيات الشكر والعرفان إلى مقام خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وسمو ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز -حفظهما الله- على هذه الثقة الملكية الكريمة، مؤكداً أن هذا التكليف يُعدّ وسام فخر ومسؤولية وطنية.
كما أعرب سعادته عن جزيل شكره ووافر امتنانه لوزير التعليم رئيس مجلس شؤون الجامعات الأستاذ يوسف بن عبدالله البنيان، على ما لقيه من دعم وتقدير، ولرئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة الدكتور نبيل بن أمين العامودي، وأصحاب المعالي والسعادة أعضاء المجلس، مثمناً ما تقوم به وزارة التعليم ومجلس شؤون الجامعات من جهود حثيثة لتطوير منظومة التعليم الجامعي، ورفع كفاءته، وتحقيق تطلعات القيادة الرشيدة ورؤية المملكة 2030.
وأكد الدكتور الحربي التزامه بمواصلة مسيرة الجامعة نحو التميّز والريادة العلمية والمجتمعية، من خلال تعزيز بيئة التعليم والابتكار والإبداع، وتهيئة مخرجات أكاديمية تنافسية تواكب متطلبات سوق العمل وتُسهم في دفع عجلة التنمية الوطنية، وتحفيز بيئة البحث والابتكار، بما يخدم رسالة الجامعة ويمكِّنها من تحقيق أهدافها الإستراتيجية.
وعبّر منسوبو جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل عن خالص التهاني والتبريكات لسعادته، سائلين الله العلي القدير له التوفيق والسداد في أداء مهماته، وأن يسدد خُطاه في خدمة الوطن.
The royal approval has been issued to appoint Professor Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi as the President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, based on what was submitted by the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of University Affairs. This step reflects the support and care that the higher education sector receives from the wise leadership - may God support it - stemming from its firm belief in the importance of this vital sector in building individuals and developing the nation.
On this occasion, Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi expressed his highest thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect them - for this royal trust, affirming that this appointment is a badge of honor and a national responsibility.
He also expressed his deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Minister of Education, Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, Mr. Yusuf bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, for the support and recognition he has received, as well as to the Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil bin Amin Al-Amoudi, and the esteemed members of the council. He valued the efforts made by the Ministry of Education and the Council of University Affairs to develop the higher education system, enhance its efficiency, and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and Vision 2030.
Dr. Al-Harbi affirmed his commitment to continuing the university's journey towards excellence and scientific and community leadership, by enhancing the environment of education, innovation, and creativity, and preparing competitive academic outputs that meet the labor market requirements and contribute to driving national development, while stimulating the research and innovation environment, in a way that serves the university's mission and enables it to achieve its strategic goals.
The staff of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University expressed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to him, asking God, the Almighty, to grant him success and guidance in fulfilling his duties, and to direct his steps in serving the nation.
