أعلن محافظ الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة الدكتور سعد بن عثمان القصبي إنشاء (5) مراكز جديدة للفحص الدوري للمركبات بمنطقة جازان في كلٍ من «جيزان، وصامطة، وصبيا، والدرب، وبيش»؛ وذلك بهدف التوسعة في خدمة الفحص الدوري التي ستسهم في تسهيل الخدمة، ورفع مستوى السلامة المرورية بالمنطقة.
كما نُوقِشت أبرز الصعوبات التي تواجه قطاع الأعمال بالمنطقة، وأُجِيب على استفساراتهم.
جاء ذلك خلال لقائه منسوبي الغرفة التجارية ورجال وسيدات الأعمال بمنطقة جازان، بحضور نائب المحافظ للمواصفات والمعايرة المهندس عمر بن عبدالعزيز القويز، ورئيس مجلس إدارة الغرفة المستشار أحمد أبوهادي.
وتناول اللقاء التعريف بخدمات الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة في مجالات التقييس، وتقويم المطابقة، والارتقاء بمواصفات وجودة المنتجات والخدمات؛ لتعزيز حماية المستهلك والتنافسية للاقتصاد الوطني.
The Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, announced the establishment of (5) new periodic vehicle inspection centers in the Jazan region in each of "Jizan, Samta, Sabya, Darb, and Baish"; with the aim of expanding the periodic inspection service, which will contribute to facilitating the service and enhancing traffic safety in the region.
The main challenges facing the business sector in the region were also discussed, and their inquiries were addressed.
This came during his meeting with members of the Chamber of Commerce and businesswomen and men in the Jazan region, in the presence of the Deputy Governor for Standards and Calibration, Engineer Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Qwaiz, and the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, Advisor Ahmed Abu Hadi.
The meeting addressed the introduction of the services of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in the fields of standardization, conformity assessment, and the enhancement of product and service specifications and quality; to strengthen consumer protection and competitiveness of the national economy.
