بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للسكان، كشفت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء عن أحدث البيانات السكانية لعام 2024.
وبحسب الإحصاءات الرسمية، بلغ إجمالي عدد سكان المملكة 35,300,280 نسمة، يشكل السعوديون منهم 55.6%، فيما بلغت نسبة غير السعوديين 44.4% من إجمالي السكان.
كما أظهرت البيانات تفوقاً واضحاً في نسبة الذكور، حيث بلغت 62.1%، مقابل 37.9% للإناث.
وفي ما يخص التركيبة العمرية، جاء التوزيع على النحو التالي:
• الفئة العمرية من 15 إلى 64 عاماً تمثل النسبة الأكبر بواقع 74.7%.
• تليها الفئة من 0 إلى 14 عاماً بنسبة 22.5%.
• أما كبار السن ممن تجاوزوا 65 عاماً، فقد شكّلوا 2.8% فقط من السكان.
وتشير هذه البيانات التي نشرتها الهيئة تحت شعار «سكان السعودية.. أرقام وأثر مستدام»، إلى مجتمع فتيّ، يتمتع بقاعدة إنتاجية واسعة، ما يعزز فرص النمو الاقتصادي، ويؤكد أهمية الاستثمار في فئة الشباب عبر التعليم والتأهيل، انسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
On the occasion of World Population Day, the General Authority for Statistics revealed the latest population data for the year 2024.
According to official statistics, the total population of the Kingdom reached 35,300,280, with Saudis making up 55.6%, while non-Saudis accounted for 44.4% of the total population.
The data also showed a clear predominance of males, who constituted 62.1%, compared to 37.9% for females.
Regarding the age structure, the distribution is as follows:
• The age group from 15 to 64 years represents the largest percentage at 74.7%.
• This is followed by the age group from 0 to 14 years at 22.5%.
• As for the elderly aged 65 and above, they made up only 2.8% of the population.
This data, published by the authority under the slogan "Population of Saudi Arabia... Numbers and Sustainable Impact," indicates a young society with a broad productive base, enhancing opportunities for economic growth and emphasizing the importance of investing in the youth through education and training, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
