وجهت المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد «قبول» نصائح وصفتها بالمهمة للمتقدمين والمتقدمات من خريجي وخريجات الثانوية العامة الذين تقدموا بطلبات للتسجيل في الجامعات الحكومية وكليات التدريب التقني والمهني للعام الدراسي الجديد.
وقالت للمتقدمين: «لا تضع التخصص المؤكد (رمز الكأس) كخيار الأول، إذا كانت هناك رغبة أخرى تطمح لها أكثر لكنها حمراء».
وأوضحت أن وضعها كخيار أول يمنع الاستفادة من أي فرص إضافية أفضل قد تظهر لاحقا في التخصصات المفضلة.
وبينت المنصة «يتعين عليك ترتيب التخصصات التي ترغب بها أولاً ولو كانت حمراء، ووضع التخصص المؤكد في مرتبة لاحقة، وفي حال لم يتم قبولك في خياراتك الأولى، فستظل مؤهلاً للفرص الإضافية في التخصصات الأعلى التي تطمح لها».

The National Unified Admission Platform "Qabul" has provided what it described as important advice for male and female applicants from high school graduates who have submitted applications for enrollment in public universities and technical and vocational training colleges for the new academic year.
It advised applicants: "Do not place the confirmed major (the cup symbol) as your first choice if there is another desired major that you aspire to more, even if it is marked in red."
It clarified that placing it as the first choice prevents benefiting from any better additional opportunities that may arise later in the preferred majors.
The platform stated, "You should prioritize the majors you desire first, even if they are marked in red, and place the confirmed major in a later position. If you are not accepted into your first choices, you will still be eligible for additional opportunities in the higher majors you aspire to."
