أمانة الشرقية تنظّم ورشة «تحسين واجهات المباني بالذكاء الاصطناعي» لرفع كفاءة المشهد الحضري

The Eastern Province Municipality held a specialized workshop for specialists and engineers on Tuesday, June 8, 2025, at the Agency for Reconstruction and Projects, titled "Improving Building Facades Using Artificial Intelligence: Innovative Solutions for a Better Urban Landscape."

This workshop comes as a continuation of the efforts of the General Administration to enhance the urban landscape by reducing elements of visual distortion in buildings and enhancing the aesthetics of cities, in collaboration with the Muath bin Abdullah Ababtine Engineering Consulting Office.

The workshop aims to develop the efficiency of municipal work in the field of improving building facades by employing artificial intelligence techniques to analyze and address visual distortion. Advanced technical solutions were presented that contribute to providing multiple design options and effective alternatives that enhance design quality, expedite decision-making, and reduce costs and effort, which directly reflects on improving the urban landscape and increasing beneficiary satisfaction.

The workshop witnessed a qualitative attendance of engineers, designers, and urban planners, and included interactive presentations on the mechanism of using artificial intelligence in processing visual data, as well as showcasing successful global experiences in innovatively improving architectural facades.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants were honored in the presence of the Assistant Secretary for Reconstruction and Projects, Engineer Mazen Bakherji, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the participants, emphasizing the importance of continuing partnerships between the municipal sector and the private sector in supporting innovation and developing the urban landscape.

The General Administration aims through these initiatives to enhance urban sustainability and achieve quality of life targets within the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
