التقى وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز في مكتبه بجدة، وزير الخارجية الإيراني الدكتور عباس عراقجي.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الثنائية وأوجه التعاون بين البلدين، وبحث تطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة والجهود المبذولة حيالها، بما يسهم في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي، إضافة إلى مناقشة عدد من القضايا والمسائل ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
حضر اللقاء مستشار وزير الدفاع لشؤون الاستخبارات هشام بن عبدالعزيز بن سيف.
فيما حضره من الجانب الإيراني سفير إيران لدى المملكة علي رضا عنايتي، ومساعد وزير الخارجية للشؤون القانونية والدولية كاظم غريب آبادي، والمتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية إسماعيل بقائي، والقنصل العام لإيران بجدة حسن زرنكار.
Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met in his office in Jeddah with Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Abbas Araghchi.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries, discussed the developments in the region and the efforts being made in this regard, which contribute to achieving regional and international security and stability, in addition to discussing a number of issues and matters of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defense's Advisor for Intelligence Affairs, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
On the Iranian side, it was attended by Iran's Ambassador to the Kingdom, Ali Reza Enayati, Assistant Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharib Abadi, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ismail Baghaei, and the Consul General of Iran in Jeddah, Hassan Zarnikar.
