أغلقت الهيئة السعودية للمياه عدداً من محطات تعبئة المياه في مدينة الرياض، بعد رصد مخالفات تتعلق بمزاولة نشاط تقديم الخدمة دون الحصول على التراخيص النظامية اللازمة، وهو ما يُعدّ مخالفة صريحة وفق نظام المياه.
وأكدت الهيئة أن الجهات المخالفة ستخضع للغرامات المنصوص عليها بحسب النظام، وذلك في إطار تطبيقها للإجراءات الرقابية، وحرصها على تعزيز الامتثال ورفع مستوى الالتزام في قطاع المياه.
وشدّدت الهيئة السعودية للمياه على جميع مزاولي الأنشطة الواقعة ضمن اختصاصها بضرورة التقدّم بطلب الحصول على التراخيص اللازمة عبر الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي للهيئة، وفق شروط الحصول على تراخيص لخدمات المياه اللاشبكية والاطلاع على متطلبات التراخيص ومنها رخصة إنتاج المياه المحلاة أو المنقاة.
The Saudi Water Authority has closed several water filling stations in Riyadh after violations were detected related to providing services without obtaining the necessary legal licenses, which is considered a clear violation according to the Water Law.
The Authority confirmed that the violating entities will be subject to the fines stipulated by the law, as part of its implementation of regulatory procedures and its commitment to enhancing compliance and raising the level of adherence in the water sector.
The Saudi Water Authority emphasized that all practitioners of activities within its jurisdiction must apply for the necessary licenses through the Authority's official website, in accordance with the conditions for obtaining licenses for non-networked water services and to review the licensing requirements, including the license for producing desalinated or purified water.
