أحبطت هيئة «الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك» في ميناء جدة الإسلامي محاولة لتهريب 646,000 حبة من مادة «الإمفيتامين» المخدر، عُثر عليها مُخبأة في إرسالية واردة إلى المملكة عبر الميناء.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم هيئة «الزكاة والضريبة والجمارك» حمود الحربي، أنه وردت إرسالية عبر ميناء جدة الإسلامي، عبارة عن «مواد غذائية» تحتوي على «فول»، وعند خضوعها للإجراءات الجمركية، والكشف عليها عبر التقنيات الأمنية، والوسائل الحية، عُثر على تلك الكمية من الحبوب مُخبأة في الإرسالية.
وأضاف الحربي أنه بعد إتمام عملية الضبط، جرى التنسيق مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات، حيث تم القبض على مستقبلي المضبوطات داخل المملكة البالغ عددهم 3 أشخاص.
وأكد الحربي أن الهيئة ماضية في إحكام الرقابة الجمركية على واردات وصادرات المملكة، تحقيقًا لأمن المجتمع وحمايته من هذه الآفات، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق المتواصل مع المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات.
ودعا المتحدث الرسمي باسم الهيئة الجميع إلى الإسهام في مكافحة التهريب لحماية المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني، من خلال التواصل معها على الرقم المخصص للبلاغات الأمنية (1910) أو عبر البريد الإلكتروني (zatca.gov.sa@1910) والرقم الدولي (009661910) حيث تقوم الهيئة من خلال هذه القنوات باستقبال البلاغات المرتبطة بجرائم التهريب، ومخالفات أحكام نظام الجمارك الموحد وذلك بسرية تامة، مع منح مكافأة مالية للمُبلّغ في حال صحة معلومات البلاغ.
The "Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority" at the Islamic Port of Jeddah thwarted an attempt to smuggle 646,000 pills of the drug "amphetamine," which were found hidden in a shipment arriving in the Kingdom through the port.
The official spokesperson for the "Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority," Hamoud Al-Harbi, explained that a shipment arrived at the Islamic Port of Jeddah, consisting of "food items" that included "beans." When subjected to customs procedures and inspected using security technologies and live means, that quantity of pills was found hidden within the shipment.
Al-Harbi added that after completing the seizure process, coordination was made with the General Directorate for Drug Control, where three individuals receiving the seized items inside the Kingdom were arrested.
Al-Harbi confirmed that the authority is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom's imports and exports, in order to ensure community security and protect it from these scourges, in ongoing cooperation and coordination with the General Directorate for Drug Control.
The official spokesperson for the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect the community and the national economy, by contacting them at the designated security reporting number (1910) or via email (zatca.gov.sa@1910) and the international number (009661910), where the authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the unified customs system confidentially, with a financial reward granted to the informant if the information provided is accurate.
