أدانت رابطة العالم الإسلامي بشدة استهداف قوات حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مواقع مدنية تؤوي نازحين، والعنفَ الذي تواصله ضد المدنيين في قطاع غزة، والاعتداءات الهمجية الدامية التي شنها مستوطنون إسرائيليون على قرية كَفَر مالك شرقي رام الله، في إطار العنف الذي ينتهجه المستوطنون ضد الفلسطينيين تحت حمايةٍ من قوات حكومة الاحتلال، مع إفلات كامل من العقاب.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة ندَّد الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، بهذه الجرائم الوحشية المتواصلة ضد المدنيين العُزّل في الأراضي الفلسطينية، والتي تمثِّل انتهاكًا صارخًا لكل القيم الإنسانية، والقوانين والأعراف الدوليّة.
وشدد العيسى على الضرورة الملحّة لاضطلاع المجتمع الدوليّ بمسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية تجاه سياسة حكومة الاحتلال المتمادية في الاستهانة بحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وإنسانيته وكرامته، واتخاذ موقف عاجل وجدّي لوقفِ هذه المجازر المروعة التي تواصل آلة الحرب الإسرائيلية ارتكابَها، ولتفعيلِ الآليات الدولية لردعها، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عنها.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the targeting of civilian sites housing displaced persons by the Israeli occupation government forces, the ongoing violence against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and the bloody barbaric assaults launched by Israeli settlers on the village of Kafr Malik east of Ramallah, as part of the violence perpetrated by settlers against Palestinians under the protection of the occupation government forces, with complete impunity.
In a statement from the League's General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and President of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced these ongoing brutal crimes against unarmed civilians in the Palestinian territories, which represent a blatant violation of all human values, as well as international laws and norms.
Al-Issa emphasized the urgent necessity for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities regarding the occupation government's persistent disregard for the rights, humanity, and dignity of the Palestinian people, and to take an immediate and serious stance to stop these horrific massacres that the Israeli war machine continues to commit, and to activate international mechanisms to deter them and hold those responsible accountable.
