نعت الخطوط الجوية السعودية اليوم (الخميس) مدير المقصورة محسن بن سعيد الزهراني، الذي وافته المنية أثناء أداء عمله على متن الرحلة رقم SV119 المتجهة من جدة إلى لندن، بعد تعرضه لعارض صحي مفاجئ أودى بحياته.
وبحسب بيان رسمي للشركة، فقد بادر الطاقم بمحاولة تقديم الإسعافات الأولية للزهراني، إلا أن حالته الحرجة لم تمهله طويلاً، حيث أعلنت وفاته قبل وصول الطائرة إلى مطار القاهرة، الذي حُولت إليه الرحلة بشكل طارئ لإنزال الجثمان.
وعُرف الفقيد بين زملائه بروحه المهنية العالية وانضباطه وأخلاقه، وكان نموذجاً يُحتذى به في الخدمة الجوية. وقد أشادت الشركة بمسيرته، مؤكدة أنه كان محل تقدير كبير داخل الخطوط السعودية، وحاز على جوائز وكفاءات متقدمة طوال سنوات خدمته.
وبتنسيق سريع مع سفارة المملكة في القاهرة، جرت الترتيبات الرسمية لاستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة، فيما أبدى طاقم الرحلة قدراً عالياً من المهنية والاحترافية في التعامل مع الظرف الطارئ واستكمال الرحلة نحو وجهتها.
وقدمت الشركة خالص العزاء لأسرة الزهراني وزملائه، مؤكدة دعمها الكامل لهم، ومشيدة بتفهم الضيوف للموقف وتعاونهم مع الطاقم خلال الأزمة.
Saudi Arabian Airlines today (Thursday) mourned the cabin manager Mohsen bin Saeed Al-Zahrani, who passed away while performing his duties on flight SV119 heading from Jeddah to London, after suffering a sudden health issue that claimed his life.
According to an official statement from the company, the crew promptly attempted to provide first aid to Al-Zahrani; however, his critical condition did not allow him to survive for long, as his death was announced before the plane reached Cairo Airport, to which the flight was diverted urgently to disembark the body.
The deceased was known among his colleagues for his high professional spirit, discipline, and ethics, and he was a role model in cabin service. The company praised his career, confirming that he was highly regarded within Saudi Airlines and received numerous awards and accolades throughout his years of service.
In quick coordination with the Kingdom's embassy in Cairo, official arrangements were made to complete the necessary procedures, while the flight crew demonstrated a high level of professionalism in handling the emergency situation and continuing the journey to its destination.
The company extended its heartfelt condolences to Al-Zahrani's family and colleagues, reaffirming its full support for them and commending the guests for their understanding of the situation and their cooperation with the crew during the crisis.
