ضبطت الفرق الرقابية لوزارة التجارة مستودعاً غير مرخص تابعاً لمنشأة تجارية يستخدم للغش في منتج الأرز بمدينة الرياض.
ووقفت الفرق الرقابية على المستودع المخالف، واتضحت مخالفته لنظام مكافحة الغش التجاري بتعبئة الأرز منتهي الصلاحية في أكياس لعلامة تجارية تحمل تواريخ صلاحية جديدة.
وبالشراكة مع الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء ضُبط (208) أكياس من الأرز تزن أكثر من (2.7) طن، وتم إغلاق المستودع المخالف، وإحالة المتورطين في الغش لإيقاع العقوبات الرادعة بحقهم.
ووفقاً لأحكام نظام مكافحة الغش التجاري تصل عقوبات مخالفي النظام إلى السجن 3 أعوام، وغرامات مالية تصل إلى مليون ريال أو بالعقوبتين معاً، وإبعاد العمالة المخالفة، والتشهير بالمخالفين بعد صدور أحكام قضائية نافذة من المحاكم المختصة.
The monitoring teams of the Ministry of Commerce have seized an unlicensed warehouse belonging to a commercial establishment that was being used for fraud involving rice products in the city of Riyadh.
The monitoring teams inspected the violating warehouse, and it became clear that it was in violation of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law by packaging expired rice in bags of a brand that bore new expiration dates.
In partnership with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, (208) bags of rice weighing more than (2.7) tons were seized, the violating warehouse was closed, and those involved in the fraud were referred for severe penalties against them.
According to the provisions of the Anti-Commercial Fraud Law, penalties for violators can reach up to 3 years in prison, financial fines of up to one million riyals, or both penalties together, as well as the deportation of the violating workers and the publicizing of the violators after the issuance of enforceable judicial rulings from the competent courts.
