بدأت الهيئة العامة للعناية بشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي، ممثلة في مجمع الملك عبدالعزيز لكسوة الكعبة المشرفة، فك المذهبات، وفك الصمديات والقناديل والحُليّ المثبتة في الكسوة وإنزال ستارة باب الكعبة المشرفة البالغ طولها (6.35) أمتار وعرضها (3.33) أمتار، استعداداً لإنزال الكسوة القديمة، وإكسائها بالكسوة الجديدة، جرياً على العادة السنوية في إرث متواصل يمتد لـ 100 عام، إذ إن الكسوة الجديدة في طريقها إلى المسجد الحرام من المجمع، وسط منظومة متكاملة من الخدمات التي تراعي في مخرجاتها أعلى المعايير العالمية.
ويشرف فريق سعودي متخصص مدرب ومؤهل علمياً وعملياً على أعمال الفك ومراحل تغيير كسوة الكعبة الأساسية المتمثلة في رفع الكسوة القديمة، وفك المذهبات، وإسدال الكسوة الجديدة.
وتتكون الكسوة الجديدة من (47) قطعة من الحرير الأسود المنقوش، مطرزة بـ (68) آية قرآنية بخيوط الفضة المطلية بالذهب عيار 24، ويبلغ وزن كسوة الكعبة الإجمالي نحو (1415) كيلوجراماً.
ويضم الكادر التشغيلي السعودي (154) صانعاً حرفياً متمكناً يستخدم (120) كيلوجراماً من أسلاك الفضة المطلية بالذهب و(60) كيلوجراماً من أسلاك الفضة الخالصة و(825) كيلوجراماً من الحرير و(410) كيلوجرامات من القطن الخام.
وعمل الكادر على إنتاج (54) قطعة مذهبة على كسوة الكعبة من خلال (8) مكائن للنسيج.
وتروي كسوة الكعبة المشرفة منذ 100 عام عناية المملكة الفائقة بالحرمين الشريفين، وحرصها على تجديد كسوة الكعبة المشرفة في مشهد مهيب وتاريخي يتجدد كل عام.
The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Kaaba's Kiswah, has begun the process of removing the gold embroidery, detaching the decorative elements, and the ornaments affixed to the Kiswah, as well as lowering the curtain of the Kaaba, which measures (6.35) meters in length and (3.33) meters in width, in preparation for the removal of the old Kiswah and replacing it with the new one. This is in line with the annual tradition of a continuous heritage that has lasted for 100 years, as the new Kiswah is on its way to the Grand Mosque from the complex, amidst a comprehensive system of services that adhere to the highest global standards.
A specialized, trained, and academically and practically qualified Saudi team supervises the dismantling and changing of the main Kiswah, which includes raising the old Kiswah, removing the gold embroidery, and draping the new Kiswah.
The new Kiswah consists of (47) pieces of patterned black silk, embroidered with (68) Quranic verses using silver threads coated with 24-carat gold, and the total weight of the Kiswah is approximately (1415) kilograms.
The operational Saudi team includes (154) skilled artisans who use (120) kilograms of gold-coated silver wires, (60) kilograms of pure silver wires, (825) kilograms of silk, and (410) kilograms of raw cotton.
The team has produced (54) gold-embroidered pieces for the Kiswah of the Kaaba using (8) weaving machines.
The Kiswah of the Holy Kaaba has narrated, for 100 years, the Kingdom's exceptional care for the Two Holy Mosques and its commitment to renewing the Kiswah of the Kaaba in a majestic and historic scene that is renewed every year.
