A Saudi conciliator at the "Taradhi" platform in the Ministry of Justice's reconciliation center successfully bridged the gap and resolved a dispute between two parties over a financial conflict amounting to 150 million riyals, concluding the disagreement amicably through the electronic platform, with the reconciliation document being approved as a binding executive instrument.
According to details followed by "Okaz," the conciliator managed to reach an agreement and amicable settlement between the two parties in a financial dispute valued at 150 million riyals, in a new incident reflecting the evolution of alternative dispute resolution methods in the Kingdom and the role of women in the Ministry of Justice.
The situation began when the first party submitted a reconciliation request via the Taradhi platform, demanding the second party to pay financial dues resulting from a previous contractual relationship. Despite both parties expressing their desire to go directly to court, the conciliator played a pivotal role in changing the perception of both parties towards the reconciliation center, shifting the course towards a desire to resolve the dispute amicably through reconciliation, which is considered one of the most important means of consensual justice.
According to the facts followed by "Okaz," the conciliator began to bridge the viewpoints and explained to the parties the legal and procedural advantages of reconciliation, such as the absence of any financial costs and the approval of the reconciliation document as a binding executive instrument for all parties, armed with her experience, professional presence, and ability to manage dialogue impartially and professionally.
After constructive reconciliation sessions, the disputing parties reached a final agreement, in which the second party committed to paying an amount of 150 million riyals to the first party, leading to the issuance of a documented and approved reconciliation report from the Ministry of Justice, which serves as an executive instrument.
It is noteworthy that the reconciliation center is considered one of the pioneering models in the digital transformation of justice, through the "Taradhi" platform, which allows citizens and residents to resolve their disputes remotely, without the need to resort to courts; thus saving them time and effort.
