أنجزت بلدية محافظة الخبر، تطوير وأنسنة 10 شوارع في مدينة الخبر لدمجها ضمن مشروع الأنسنة الهادف إلى تعزيز جودة الحياة، وتحسين البيئة الحضرية بما يجعل المدينة أكثر ملاءمة للإنسان والبيئة، وبما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
من جانبه أوضح رئيس بلدية محافظة الخبر المهندس مشعل بن الحميدي الوهبي، أن البلدية أنجزت تطوير وأنسنة 10 شوارع بطول إجمالي يزيد عن 13,000متر، مع أهمية التركيز على البعد الإنساني ودمج العناصر الجمالية والوظيفية في تصميم الشوارع، مع مراعاة حاجات جميع فئات المجتمع، بمن فيهم ذوو الإعاقة؛ بهدف تحسين المشهد الحضري، وتوفير بيئة مستدامة وصحية.
وشملت المواقع التي تم تطويرها كلاً من طريق الأمير تركي، وشارع الأمير فهد بن سلمان، وشارع الأمير جلوي، وشارع عبدالقادر المهيدب، إضافة إلى شارع 21 بحي العليا، وشارع بشار بن برد بحي العليا، وشارع 22 بحي العقربية، وكذلك شارع 18 بحي اليرموك، وشارع 3 بحي الكورنيش، وشارع الشفاء بحي الحزام الذهبي.
وتشمل الأعمال ربط أجزاء الطرق ببعضها البعض وتنفيذ أرصفة عريضة للمشاة، مسطحات خضراء، وأشجار ظل، وإنارة تجميلية، ومعابر مشاة آمنة، إضافة إلى كراسي جلوس ولوحات إرشادية، ومسارات للدراجات، مما يعزز من جاذبية هذه المواقع التي تضم منشآت تجارية وسياحية، إضافة إلى جعل الأحياء السكنية تنعم بالديمومة والرفاه، عبر تسهيل حركة السكان وتنقلاتهم، علاوة على مساهمته الفاعلة في تحسين الهوية البصرية لمدينة الخبر.

The Municipality of Al Khobar Governorate has completed the development and humanization of 10 streets in the city of Al Khobar as part of the humanization project aimed at enhancing the quality of life and improving the urban environment, making the city more suitable for people and the environment, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
In this regard, the Mayor of Al Khobar Governorate, Engineer Mishal bin Al-Humaidi Al-Wahbi, explained that the municipality has completed the development and humanization of 10 streets with a total length exceeding 13,000 meters, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the human aspect and integrating aesthetic and functional elements in the design of the streets, while considering the needs of all segments of society, including people with disabilities; with the aim of improving the urban landscape and providing a sustainable and healthy environment.
The developed locations included Prince Turki Road, Prince Fahd bin Salman Street, Prince Jalawi Street, and Abdul Qadir Al-Muhaydib Street, in addition to 21st Street in the Al-Olaya neighborhood, Bashar bin Bard Street in the Al-Olaya neighborhood, 22nd Street in the Al-Aqaria neighborhood, as well as 18th Street in the Al-Yarmouk neighborhood, 3rd Street in the Corniche neighborhood, and Al-Shifa Street in the Golden Belt neighborhood.
The works include connecting parts of the roads to each other and implementing wide sidewalks for pedestrians, green spaces, shade trees, decorative lighting, safe pedestrian crossings, in addition to seating benches, directional signs, and bike paths, which enhances the attractiveness of these locations that include commercial and tourist facilities, as well as ensuring that residential neighborhoods enjoy sustainability and well-being by facilitating the movement and transportation of residents, in addition to its effective contribution to improving the visual identity of the city of Al Khobar.
