التقى النائب العام الشيخ سعود بن عبدالله المعجب، بالنائب العام في روسيا الاتحادية إيغور كراسنوف، وذلك على هامش منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين النيابتين، وتبادل الخبرات في المجالات العدلية، والثقافة القانونية، والإنتاج العلمي، بما يُسهم في تطوير الممارسات النيابية وتكامل الجهود في مكافحة الجريمة وترسيخ العدالة.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة امتداداً للعلاقات المتينة بين النيابة العامة في المملكة العربية السعودية ونظيرتها في جمهورية روسيا الاتحادية، وتجسيداً لحرص الجانبين على تعزيز الشراكة والتكامل المؤسسي في الجوانب العدلية، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويرسّخ مبادئ العدالة وسيادة القانون.
يُشار إلى أن مذكرة التعاون الموقعة بين النيابتين في عام 2019م، قد أثمرت عن تنفيذ برنامج تعاون مشترك خلال عامي 2023-2024م، محققاً نتائج إيجابية وآثاراً ملموسة.
يذكر أن النيابة العامة تشارك في منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي، الذي ينعقد في نسخته الـ28 هذا العام خلال الفترة من 18 إلى 21 يونيو الجاري، تحت عنوان: «القيم المشتركة - أساس النمو في عالم متعدد الأقطاب». ويُعد المنتدى منصة دولية رفيعة المستوى للحوار وتبادل الرؤى حول تعزيز التعاون العالمي، وترسيخ القيم المشتركة بين الدول والمؤسسات.
The Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'jab met with the Attorney General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
During the meeting, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two offices were discussed, along with the exchange of experiences in judicial fields, legal culture, and scientific production, contributing to the development of prosecutorial practices and the integration of efforts in combating crime and establishing justice.
This visit comes as an extension of the strong relations between the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its counterpart in the Russian Federation, reflecting both sides' commitment to enhancing partnership and institutional integration in judicial aspects, serving mutual interests and reinforcing the principles of justice and the rule of law.
It is noteworthy that the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two offices in 2019 has resulted in the implementation of a joint cooperation program during the years 2023-2024, achieving positive results and tangible impacts.
It is mentioned that the Public Prosecution is participating in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is being held in its 28th edition this year from June 18 to 21, under the title: "Shared Values - The Foundation for Growth in a Multipolar World." The forum is considered a high-level international platform for dialogue and the exchange of views on enhancing global cooperation and reinforcing shared values among countries and institutions.
