تلقت الخطوط الجوية السعودية بلاغاً أمنياً عن وجود قنبلة على متن رحلتها رقم SV 5276 المتجهة إلى العاصمة الإندونيسية جاكرتا، وأكد مدير عام الاتصال المؤسسي في الخطوط السعودية المهندس عبدالله الشهراني، أنه استجابة لبلاغ أمني ورد على متن الرحلة، حوّلت الخطوط السعودية رحلتها رقم SV5276 المتجهة من جدة إلى جاكرتا، إلى مطار كوالانامو في ميدان بجزيرة سومطرة غرب إندونيسيا.
وأضاف الشهراني لـ «العربية»، «هبطت الطائرة وتم إخلاؤها من جميع الركاب وأفراد الطاقم بسلام، فيما أجرت السلطات المعنية الفحوصات الروتينية التي أكدت سلامة الطائرة».
من جانب آخر، كشفت هيئة الطيران المدني الإندونيسية أنه تم تحويل مسار الطائرة السعودية بعد تلقي السلطات الإندونيسية تهديداً بوجود قنبلة عبر البريد الإلكتروني.
وأضافت: «تلقينا بلاغاً من مشغل المطار في إندونيسيا بشأن تهديد بوجود قنبلة، أرسله شخص مجهول الهوية عبر البريد الإلكتروني».
وقالت في بيان: «الرسالة الإلكترونية التي وصلت الساعة 7:30 صباحاً (3:30 فجراً بتوقيت السعودية)، تضمنت تهديداً بـ«تفجير» رحلة الخطوط الجوية السعودية رقم SV 5276، التي كانت متجهة من مدينة جدة السعودية إلى العاصمة الإندونيسية جاكرتا، والتي تقل 442 راكباً، 207 رجال و235 امرأة».
وبعد الساعة 10 صباحاً، حوّل الطيار مسار الطائرة من وجهتها، (مطار سوكارنو هاتا الدولي في جاكرتا)، إلى مطار كوالانامو الدولي في ميدان، وهي مدينة تقع في جزيرة سومطرة غرب إندونيسيا.
إلى ذلك أكدت شركة «إنجورني إيربورتس»، مشغلة مطارات إندونيسيا: «بعد رصد تهديدات أمنية، قرر الطيار تحويل مسار الهبوط إلى أقرب مطار».
وصرح مسؤول في وزارة النقل الإندونيسية أن الطائرة لا تزال في ميدان، وأن موقع «فلايت رادار 24» أظهر موقع الطائرة هناك.
وأفادت هيئة الطيران في بيانها، أن المطار أخلى الركاب، وقامت وحدة تفكيك القنابل بفحص الطائرة بحثاً عن أي عبوات ناسفة.
Saudi Airlines received a security alert about the presence of a bomb on board its flight SV 5276 heading to the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Abdullah Al-Shahrani, the General Director of Corporate Communications at Saudi Airlines, confirmed that in response to the security alert received on board the flight, Saudi Airlines diverted flight SV5276 from Jeddah to Jakarta to Kualanamu Airport in Medan on the island of Sumatra, western Indonesia.
Al-Shahrani added to "Al Arabiya," "The plane landed and all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated, while the relevant authorities conducted routine checks that confirmed the safety of the aircraft."
On another note, the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority revealed that the flight path of the Saudi aircraft was diverted after Indonesian authorities received a bomb threat via email.
It added: "We received a report from the airport operator in Indonesia regarding a bomb threat sent by an unidentified person via email."
It stated in a statement: "The email received at 7:30 AM (3:30 AM Saudi time) included a threat to 'detonate' Saudi Airlines flight SV 5276, which was heading from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to the Indonesian capital Jakarta, carrying 442 passengers, 207 men and 235 women."
After 10 AM, the pilot diverted the aircraft from its destination (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta) to Kualanamu International Airport in Medan, a city located on the island of Sumatra, western Indonesia.
In this regard, "Injourney Airports," the operator of Indonesian airports, confirmed: "After detecting security threats, the pilot decided to divert the landing to the nearest airport."
An official from the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation stated that the aircraft is still in Medan, and the "Flight Radar 24" showed the aircraft's location there.
The aviation authority reported in its statement that the airport evacuated the passengers, and the bomb disposal unit examined the aircraft for any explosive devices.
