اختتمت أمانة محافظة جدة جهودها ضمن أعمال لجنة مكافحة تهريب لحوم الأضاحي وبيع الأغنام العشوائي، التي نُفذت خلال موسم الحج لعام (1446)، وأسفرت عن ضبط تهريب عدد من الذبائح غير الصالحة للاستهلاك الآدمي، بلغ مجموعها (663) ذبيحة، رُصدت في 5 نقاط تفتيش بالمنافذ، في أثناء محاولات نقلها بطرق مخالفة تفتقر لاشتراطات الحفظ والتخزين.
وأوضحت الأمانة أن أعمال الرقابة الميدانية نُفذت بمشاركة أكثر من 100 مراقب ميداني من البلديات الفرعية والإدارات المختصة، وبدعم من الجهات الأمنية، وضُبطت الذبائح الفاسدة ضمن نطاق بلديات (الجنوب، العزيزية، بريمان، أم السلم، ذهبان، وطيبة)، وأتلفت وفق الإجراءات النظامية، بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للنظافة التي وفّرت الضواغط والحاويات والمعدات والعمالة اللازمة لعمليات الإتلاف والتخلص الآمن من المصادرات.
وشملت أعمال اللجنة تنفيذ حملات ميدانية على المسالخ والحظائر والمواقع العشوائية في نطاق (11) بلدية فرعية، أسفرت عن إزالة (184) حظيرة مخالفة، و(425) مسلخا عشوائيا، إضافة إلى منع (2204) مركبات مخالفة تمارس بيع الأغنام خارج المواقع النظامية.
وتأتي هذه الجهود ضمن الحملة الرقابية الموسمية التي تنفذها الأمانة بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية لحماية سلامة الغذاء، والحد من تداول اللحوم الفاسدة ومجهولة المصدر، بما يسهم في رفع مستوى الامتثال وتعزيز الصحة العامة خلال موسم الحج.
The Jeddah Municipality concluded its efforts as part of the Committee for Combating the Smuggling of Sacrificial Meat and the Random Sale of Sheep, which were carried out during the Hajj season of (1446). This resulted in the seizure of a number of unfit for human consumption carcasses, totaling (663) carcasses, which were detected at 5 inspection points at the outlets during attempts to transport them in violation of the preservation and storage requirements.
The municipality clarified that the field monitoring activities were conducted with the participation of more than 100 field inspectors from the sub-municipalities and relevant departments, supported by security agencies. The spoiled carcasses were seized within the jurisdictions of the municipalities of (South, Al-Aziziyah, Briman, Umm Al-Salam, Dhahban, and Taybah), and were destroyed according to regulatory procedures, in coordination with the General Administration of Cleanliness, which provided the necessary compactors, containers, equipment, and labor for the destruction operations and safe disposal of the confiscated items.
The committee's activities included conducting field campaigns on slaughterhouses, pens, and random sites within the scope of (11) sub-municipalities, resulting in the removal of (184) illegal pens and (425) random slaughterhouses, in addition to preventing (2204) violating vehicles from selling sheep outside the regulated sites.
These efforts are part of the seasonal monitoring campaign carried out by the municipality in cooperation with the relevant authorities to protect food safety and limit the circulation of spoiled and unknown source meats, contributing to raising compliance levels and enhancing public health during the Hajj season.
