The Attorney General, Sheikh Saud Al-Muajab, confirmed the judicial protection of the holy sites and the visitors to the Sacred House of God, and the initiation of legal procedures related to crimes that may violate religious rituals, and the appropriation of funds through fraud, deception, or misrepresentation, or forms of commercial fraud or violations of the standard specifications approved in the Kingdom for the products offered to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, as well as addressing cyber crimes that affect the security of the pilgrimage and the peace of the pilgrims, and taking the necessary legal measures against them. The Attorney General also referred to the advanced technical preparations in place and the qualified human resources.

This came during his comprehensive inspection tour of the offices of the Public Prosecution involved in the pilgrimage, where he reviewed all the preparations and readiness, and inaugurated several Public Prosecution offices in the holy sites, including 27 Public Prosecution centers in Mecca and the holy sites that contribute to reducing the time for the accused and referring them within 10 minutes.
