الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود يلتقي وزير الداخلية السوري

The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, met today with his Syrian counterpart, Anas Khattab, at the ministry's headquarters in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud welcomed the Syrian Minister of Interior and his accompanying delegation.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud stated that this meeting came based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to enhance security cooperation between the two brotherly countries and their commitment to providing all support and sharing expertise to achieve the interests of security and stability in Syria.

During the meeting, ways to enhance security cooperation between the two brotherly countries were discussed, along with several topics of mutual interest.

Attending the meeting were the Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations, Lieutenant General Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani, the Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, Mohammed bin Mahna Al-Mahna, the Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, the Director General of the Minister's Office for Studies and Research, Major General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Urawan, the Director General of Passports overseeing the Ministry of Interior's Civil Status Agency, Major General Dr. Saleh bin Saad Al-Murabba, and the Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Essa.

From the Syrian side, the meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of Interior, Brigadier General Ziad Fawaz Al-Ayash, the Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Engineer Ahmed Hafaar, the Director of Training and Rehabilitation, Dr. Hussein Salman, the Director of Traffic, Brigadier General Fadi Al-Hamish, and several senior officials from the Syrian Ministry of Interior.
