أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الإيرانية الآثمة على دولة الكويت ومملكة البحرين، وكذلك على أمن وحرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: «المملكة تؤكد رفضها القاطع لهذه الاعتداءات بصفتها انتهاكاً للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وتجدد المملكة تأكيدها أن هذه الانتهاكات تقوض الجهود الدولية الرامية لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة».
وجدّدت المملكة تضامنها مع دولة الكويت ومملكة البحرين، ودعمها الكامل لكل ما تتخذانه من إجراءات لصون سيادتهما وأمنهما.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the Iranian criminal attacks on the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as on the security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry stated in a statement: "The Kingdom reaffirms its firm rejection of these attacks as a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and the Kingdom reiterates that these violations undermine international efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in the region."
The Kingdom renewed its solidarity with the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its full support for all measures they take to preserve their sovereignty and security.
