امتداداً للعلاقات التاريخية والمميزة بين المملكة العربية السعودية والمملكة المتحدة، أطلقت وزارة الخارجية السعودية خدمة تصريح السفر الإلكتروني (ETA) لمواطني المملكة المتحدة الصديقة، تعزيزاً للتسهيلات المقدمة للراغبين في زيارة المملكة، وأسوةً بالتسهيلات الممنوحة للمواطنين السعوديين من خلال هذه الخدمة من الجانب البريطاني.
وتسمح خدمة التصريح الإلكتروني (ETA) لمواطني المملكة المتحدة بدخول المملكة العربية السعودية بتصريح سفر إلكتروني ولعدة سفرات، والإقامة لمدة 180 يوماً متصلة أو على فترات متفرقة خلال السنة الواحدة. ويتيح التصريح زيارة المملكة لأغراض متعددة؛ منها السياحة، والدراسة القصيرة، والأعمال، ولا يشمل تأشيرات العمل أو الإقامة أو الحج، إذ يلزم لذلك الحصول على التأشيرة المخصصة لتلك الأغراض.
وتدخل الخدمة حيز التنفيذ يوم (الأربعاء) الموافق 1 يوليو 2026م، وتشمل جميع أنواع جوازات مواطني المملكة المتحدة، بما يفتح آفاقاً أوسع للشراكة المميزة بين البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
Continuing the historical and distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) service for citizens of the friendly United Kingdom, enhancing the facilities provided for those wishing to visit the Kingdom, and in line with the facilities granted to Saudi citizens through this service from the British side.
The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) service allows citizens of the United Kingdom to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an electronic travel authorization for multiple trips, and to stay for up to 180 consecutive days or intermittently throughout the year. The authorization permits visits to the Kingdom for various purposes, including tourism, short-term study, and business, but does not include work, residency, or pilgrimage visas, for which a specific visa is required.
The service will come into effect on (Wednesday) July 1, 2026, and includes all types of passports for citizens of the United Kingdom, opening broader horizons for the distinguished partnership between the two countries and their friendly peoples.
