أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية بأشد العبارات تكرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية التي استهدفت المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة، ومملكة البحرين الشقيقة، ودولة الكويت الشقيقة، واستمرار الاعتداءات على سيادة الدول الشقيقة بما يزيد من حدة التوتر في المنطقة.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: إن المملكة تدعو إلى التهدئة وتجنب التصعيد، وتغليب الحكمة بالعودة إلى العمل الدبلوماسي، واستكمال المفاوضات البناءة التي ترعاها جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية الشقيقة، وما رافقها من جهود لدولة قطر الشقيقة، بما يجنب المنطقة وشعوبها تبعات العودة إلى الحرب، ويساهم في استعادة الأمن والاستقرار للمنطقة والعالم.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation of the repeated Iranian attacks targeting the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, and the sisterly State of Kuwait, as well as the continued assaults on the sovereignty of sisterly states, which increase tensions in the region.
The ministry stated in a statement: The Kingdom calls for de-escalation and avoidance of escalation, prioritizing wisdom by returning to diplomatic work and completing the constructive negotiations sponsored by the sisterly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, along with the efforts of the sisterly State of Qatar, in order to spare the region and its peoples the repercussions of a return to war, and to contribute to restoring security and stability to the region and the world.
