كرَّم محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، بمقر المحافظة اليوم، 121 طالباً وطالبة من الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمحافظة جدة؛ الفائزين بجائزة «منافس» للطلبة المتميزين لعام 2025، بحضور مدير عام التعليم بمحافظة جدة منال بنت مبارك اللهيبي، وعددٍ من قيادات التعليم.
وهنأ محافظ جدة الطلاب والطالبات الفائزين بما حققوه من إنجازات متميزة، مؤكداً أن استمرارهم في هذا النهج سيُسهم في صناعة نماذج وطنية مشرّفة قادرة على المنافسة والابتكار.
وثمنت اللهيبي تكريم محافظ جدة للطلبة الذي يُعد حافزاً لهم لمواصلة التميز والريادة، مشيرة إلى أن جائزة منافس تأتي امتداداً لجهود وزارة التعليم في اكتشاف ورعاية الطلبة المتميزين، وتمكينهم من الابتكار وقيادة المشروعات الريادية؛ بما يسهم في بناء وطن طموح واقتصاد مزدهر.
وأضافت اللهيبي أن مبادرة «منافس» تسعى إلى تحقيق العديد من الأهداف النوعية، من أبرزها تشجيع التميز الأكاديمي والإبداع، وتحفيز التفكير النقدي والابتكار، إلى جانب تعزيز روح التنافس الإيجابي، وتطوير مهارات العمل الجماعي والقيادة. وأوضحت أن عدد المكرمين بلغ 64 طالباً و57 طالبة من 82 مدرسة، بعد تحقيقهم مستويات متقدمة من الأداء والتميز في مختلف مسارات الجائزة، التي شملت الاختبارات الدولية، والتحصيل المعرفي، والعمل التطوعي، والابتكار والموهبة العلمية، ومهارات المستقبل وريادة الأعمال.
The Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, honored 121 male and female students from the General Administration of Education in Jeddah today at the governorate's headquarters; the winners of the "Munaafis" award for distinguished students for the year 2025, in the presence of the Director General of Education in Jeddah, Manal bint Mubarak Al-Luhaibi, and several educational leaders.
The Governor of Jeddah congratulated the winning students for their outstanding achievements, affirming that their continued commitment to this path will contribute to creating honorable national models capable of competition and innovation.
Al-Luhaibi praised the Governor of Jeddah's honoring of the students, which serves as an incentive for them to continue their excellence and leadership, pointing out that the Munaafis award is an extension of the Ministry of Education's efforts to discover and nurture distinguished students, enabling them to innovate and lead entrepreneurial projects; contributing to building an ambitious nation and a prosperous economy.
Al-Luhaibi added that the "Munaafis" initiative aims to achieve many qualitative goals, the most prominent of which are encouraging academic excellence and creativity, stimulating critical thinking and innovation, as well as enhancing the spirit of positive competition and developing teamwork and leadership skills. She explained that the number of honorees reached 64 male students and 57 female students from 82 schools, after achieving advanced levels of performance and excellence in various award pathways, which included international tests, knowledge acquisition, volunteer work, innovation and scientific talent, future skills, and entrepreneurship.
