من الخامس من شهر رمضان حتى الحادي عشر، رصدت هيئة النقل 25,383 مخالفة أثمرت عن حجز 854 سيارة في عدد من المناطق والمدن السعودية أبرزها في مكة والمدينة. وأوضحت الهيئة أن الحملات جاءت للتحقق من جودة الخدمات وفحص الحالات الفنية للمركبات، وضبط المخالفات المرتبطة بممارسة نشاط نقل الركاب غير النظامي «الكدادة» وتقديم خدمات نقل تلتزم بجميع معايير السلامة.
وأكَّدت أن المخالفات التي رصدتها الفرق الرقابية خلال شهر رمضان شملت عدم تقيد السائقين بالزي المعتمد وتشغيلهم دون بطاقة تشغيل، وعدم استيفاء المركبات لمتطلبات السلامة، إلى جانب عدم التزام سائقي مركبات الأجرة بتشغيل عداد الأجرة، وقيام الأفراد بالأعمال التحضيرية لنقل الركاب على سياراتهم الخاصة «الكدادة».
وطبقا لتقرير الهيئة نظمت فرق الرقابة في منطقة مكة المكرمة (64,381) عملية فحص، و(16,208) مخالفات، كما جرى حجز أكثر من (685) مركبة مخالفة للأنظمة والاشتراطات الفنية.
وتوزعت الفرق الرقابية في عددٍ من مواقع منطقة مكة المكرمة أبرزها، مناطق الشميسي النموذجي والقديم، والنوارية، والكعكية، إضافة إلى محطات عدة منها محطة قطار الحرمين، ومحطات النقل المجاورة للمسجد الحرام، ومطار الملك عبدالعزيز، ومطار الطائف وغيرها للتأكد من الالتزام بمعايير السلامة في أنشطة النقل.
أما منطقة المدينة المنورة، فبلغت عمليات الفحص فيها أكثر (18,262) نتج عنها رصد (4,200) مخالفة وحجز (136) مركبة مخالفة وتمركزت فرق الرقابة في عدد من المواقع منها المنطقة المركزية، ومحطة الحافلات، ومسجد الميقات وقباء، ومحطة قطار الحرمين، ومطار الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز، ومطار ينبع.
وعلى صعيد المناطق الأخرى، نفذت الفرق الرقابية التابعة للهيئة أكثر من (39) ألف عملية فحص في عدد من مناطق المملكة منها الرياض، والشرقية، وتبوك، وحائل، وغيرها، أسفرت عن رصد (4,980) مخالفة، وحجز (33) مركبة مخالفة.
From the fifth of Ramadan to the eleventh, the Transport Authority recorded 25,383 violations that resulted in the impounding of 854 vehicles in several regions and cities in Saudi Arabia, most notably in Mecca and Medina. The authority clarified that the campaigns were conducted to verify the quality of services and to inspect the technical conditions of vehicles, as well as to control violations related to the practice of illegal passenger transport activities known as "kaddadah" and to provide transport services that comply with all safety standards.
It confirmed that the violations recorded by the monitoring teams during Ramadan included drivers not adhering to the approved uniform and operating without a work permit, as well as vehicles not meeting safety requirements, in addition to taxi drivers not using the fare meter, and individuals preparing to transport passengers in their private cars "kaddadah".
According to the authority's report, monitoring teams in the Mecca region conducted (64,381) inspection operations, resulting in (16,208) violations, and more than (685) vehicles were impounded for violating regulations and technical requirements.
The monitoring teams were distributed across several locations in the Mecca region, notably in the Al-Shumaisi model and old areas, Al-Nawariah, and Al-Kakiah, in addition to several stations including the Haramain train station, transportation stations near the Grand Mosque, King Abdulaziz Airport, Taif Airport, and others to ensure compliance with safety standards in transport activities.
In the Medina region, inspection operations exceeded (18,262), resulting in the detection of (4,200) violations and the impounding of (136) violating vehicles. The monitoring teams were concentrated in several locations including the central area, the bus station, the Miqat Mosque and Quba, the Haramain train station, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport, and Yanbu Airport.
In other regions, the authority's monitoring teams conducted more than (39) thousand inspection operations in various areas of the Kingdom, including Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Tabuk, Ha'il, and others, resulting in the detection of (4,980) violations and the impounding of (33) violating vehicles.
