نظمت المديرية العامة لحرس الحدود بمشاركة الجهات الأعضاء في اللجنة، في نادي جدة لليخوت بمحافظة جدة، أمس، التمرين العملي المشترك للخطة الوطنية لمواجهة الكوارث البحرية «بحث وإنقاذ 46».
ويهدف التمرين -الذي شهده المدير العام لحرس الحدود رئيس اللجنة الوطنية الدائمة لمواجهة الكوارث البحرية بمياه المملكة العربية السعودية اللواء شايع سالم الودعاني- إلى تعزيز الجاهزية المشتركة في تنفيذ عمليات البحث والإنقاذ، والإخلاء، وإطفاء الحرائق، ومكافحة التلوث البحري، والنقل، وتقديم العون للمتضررين.
The General Directorate of Border Guard, in collaboration with the member entities of the committee, organized yesterday at the Jeddah Yacht Club in Jeddah Governorate, the joint practical exercise for the national plan to address maritime disasters "Search and Rescue 46".
The exercise, which was attended by the Director General of Border Guard and Chairman of the National Permanent Committee for Addressing Maritime Disasters in the waters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Major General Shaya' Salem Al-Wad'ani, aims to enhance joint readiness in executing search and rescue operations, evacuation, firefighting, combating marine pollution, transportation, and providing assistance to those affected.
