أعلنت دار Julien’s Auctions مزادا ضخما تحت عنوان «أسلوب الأميرة ديانا ومجموعة ملكية»، مقررا في 26 يونيو 2025 في فندق The Peninsula بمدينة بيفرلي هيلز، كاليفورنيا. ويعد هذا المزاد الأكبر من نوعه حتى اليوم لعرض مقتنيات الأميرة الراحلة العائدة لعاميّ ’81–’97، ويشمل أكثر من 100 قطعة تشمل فساتين، قبعات، حقائب، أحذية، رسومات بخط يدها، ومذكرات خطية.
من أبرز القطع:
• فستان حرير كريم من تصميم Catherine Walker، ارتدته ديانا أثناء زيارتها لدول الخليج عام 1986—تُقدّر قيمته بين 200,000 و300,000 دولار.
• فستان زهري من Bellville Sassoon ارتدته خلال زيارات رسمية بين 1988 و1992، عُرف بـ«فستان العناية» لتأثيره الإيجابي على الأطفال المصابين بالمرض — تقدير البيع بين 200,000 و300,000 دولار.
• كومبليت صيفي أصفر من Bruce Oldfield، مع حقيبة Dior جرى تقديمها لها من قبل بيرناديت شيراك، بسعر تقديري حتى 200,000 دولار.
• فستان قصير أسود بأكمام ثلاثة أرباع من Elizabeth Emanuel، ومن ضمن مذكراتها فستان «الأخت» (Sister Dress)، متوقع بيعه بين 20,000 و40,000 دولار.
• بدلة تزلج حمراء وقميص قطني بشعار مؤسسة رئة بريطانيا، تمثل جانباً كاجوال في أسلوب ديانا؛ تقديرات هاتين القطعتين تتراوح بين 20,000 و50,000 دولار.
هذا المزاد لا يقتصر على أزياء ديانا فحسب، بل يضم أيضاً مقتنيات ملكية أخرى تعود للملكة إليزابيث الثانية، والملكة الأم، ودوق ودوقة وندسور، ويعود جزء من العائدات لصالح جمعية Muscular Dystrophy UK الخيرية.
ويأتي هذا الحدث بعد المزاد الأسطوري الذي طافت فيه الأميرة بنفسها عام 1997، حيث بيع نحو 80 فستاناً لصالح الأطفال والسرطان، وجمعت أكثر من 3 ملايين دولار. وقد بيعت قطعة منها لاحقاً بمبلغ 1.14 مليون دولار في 2023.
Julien’s Auctions has announced a massive auction titled "The Style of Princess Diana and Royal Collection," scheduled for June 26, 2025, at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. This auction is the largest of its kind to date, showcasing the late princess's possessions from the years '81–'97, and includes over 100 items such as dresses, hats, bags, shoes, handwritten notes, and personal diaries.
Among the highlighted items:
• A cream silk dress designed by Catherine Walker, worn by Diana during her visit to the Gulf countries in 1986—valued between $200,000 and $300,000.
• A pink dress by Bellville Sassoon worn during official visits between 1988 and 1992, known as the "Care Dress" for its positive impact on sick children—estimated sale price between $200,000 and $300,000.
• A yellow summer outfit by Bruce Oldfield, along with a Dior bag presented to her by Bernadette Chirac, with an estimated price up to $200,000.
• A short black dress with three-quarter sleeves by Elizabeth Emanuel, which is part of her diaries as the "Sister Dress," expected to sell between $20,000 and $40,000.
• A red ski suit and a cotton shirt with the logo of the British Lung Foundation, representing a casual side of Diana's style; estimates for these two pieces range between $20,000 and $50,000.
This auction is not limited to Diana's fashion alone, but also includes other royal possessions belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.
This event follows the legendary auction that the princess herself held in 1997, where around 80 dresses were sold for the benefit of children and cancer research, raising over $3 million. One of the pieces was later sold for $1.14 million in 2023.
