تصدرت المملكة العربية السعودية قائمة أكبر الدول العربية المنتجة للصلب الخام خلال أول 8 أشهر من العام الحالي، بحسب بيانات منظمة الصلب العالمي التي نقلها الاتحاد العربي للحديد والصلب.
وأنتجت المملكة 6.928 مليون طن في الأشهر الثمانية الأولى بنمو 11.9% مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام الماضي، وفي أغسطس منفردًا أنتجت 1.007 مليون طن بنمو سنوي 64.1%.
وشكل إنتاج السعودية 49.5% من إنتاج دول الخليج و24.5% من إنتاج الدول العربية، بحسب بيانات اطلعت عليها «العربية Business».
تجاوز الإنتاج
وتجاوزت السعودية بذلك إنتاج مصر المتراجع بنحو 5.6% خلال أول 8 أشهر والذي بلغ 6.687 مليون طن، في حين بلغ في أغسطس نحو 896 ألف طن بانخفاض 0.2%.
وتتصدر مصر إنتاج دول شمال أفريقيا ويمثل إنتاجها 55% من إنتاج تلك الدول البالغ 11.982 مليون طن في أول 8 أشهر، ويليها بفارق كبير الجزائر بإنتاج بلغ 3.52 مليون طن، ثم المغرب بنحو 990 ألف طن.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia topped the list of the largest Arab countries producing raw steel during the first 8 months of the current year, according to data from the World Steel Association reported by the Arab Iron and Steel Union.
Saudi Arabia produced 6.928 million tons in the first eight months, with an 11.9% growth compared to the same period last year. In August alone, it produced 1.007 million tons, marking an annual growth of 64.1%.
Saudi Arabia's production accounted for 49.5% of the Gulf countries' production and 24.5% of the Arab countries' production, according to data reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
Production Surpass
Thus, Saudi Arabia surpassed Egypt, whose production declined by about 5.6% during the first 8 months, reaching 6.687 million tons, while in August it was around 896 thousand tons, a decrease of 0.2%.
Egypt leads the production among North African countries, representing 55% of the total production of those countries, which amounted to 11.982 million tons in the first 8 months, followed by Algeria with a significant gap at 3.52 million tons, and then Morocco with about 990 thousand tons.
