أكد وزير التجارة رئيس مجلس إدارة المركز الوطني للتنافسية الدكتور ماجد القصبي، أن رؤية المملكة 2030، التي أطلقها ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، أحدثت تحولا غير مسبوق في الاقتصاد السعودي، إذ نفذت المملكة أكثر من 900 إصلاح تشريعي وتنظيمي لبناء اقتصاد تنافسي، إلى جانب إطلاق المشاريع الأكثر طموحا في العالم، ما أسهم في تجاوز الناتج المحلي الإجمالي 1.3 تريليون دولار، الأمر الذي جعل الاقتصاد السعودي الأكبر في الشرق الأوسط، والـ17 عالميا.
وأوضح خلال مشاركته في «منتدى الأعمال السعودي النرويجي» -الذي نظّمه المركز الوطني للتنافسية في إطار زيارة عمل يجريها وفد سعودي تجاري يضم 30 قياديا ومسؤولا من القطاعين العام والخاص برئاسة القصبي- أن هناك العديد من أوجه التشابه في مقدمتها وجود الموارد الطبيعية، والمجتمعات القوية التي تسعى إلى بناء اقتصاد مزدهر.
تعزيز التعاون
وقال القصبي -أمام أكثر من 130 قياديا من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص في البلدين شاركوا في أعمال المنتدى- إن هناك شركات نرويجية تعمل في المملكة، وهناك رغبة من الجانبين في تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مجالات اللوجستيات، والشحن، والثروة السمكية، والتصنيع المتقدم، والسياحة، والرقمنة، والصحة، والتعليم، والصناعات الإبداعية، لافتا النظر إلى أن التبادل التجاري بين البلدين نما 360% خلال الفترة من 2020 إلى 2024 ليصل إلى 828 مليون دولار.
مناقشة الفرص
من جانبها أوضحت وزيرة التجارة والصناعة النرويجية سيسيلي ميرسيث، أن المنتدى أتاح للشركات النرويجية فرصة الالتقاء مع قطاع الأعمال السعودي ومناقشة الفرص، مع تزايد اهتمام الشركات النرويجية بتوسيع أعمالها في المملكة العربية السعودية.
وسبق انطلاق أعمال المنتدى تنظيم المركز الوطني للتنافسية حفل استقبال بالتعاون مع سفارة المملكة في أوسلو بمناسبة اليوم الوطني، شارك فيه سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى مملكة النرويج خالد بن محمد الشريف، وعدد من السفراء وأعضاء السلك الدبلوماسي المعتمدين لدى النرويج.
أبرز الإصلاحات
وخلال المنتدى استعرضت نائبة وزير التجارة الرئيسة التنفيذية للمركز الوطني للتنافسية الدكتورة إيمان المطيري، أبرز الإصلاحات المنفذة لتعزيز تنافسية المملكة، والفرص الواعدة في القطاعات الحيوية، مشيرة إلى أنه تم إصدار وتحديث 1200 تنظيم ولائحة أسهمت في جعل بيئة الأعمال إحدى الوجهات الرائدة على المستوى العالمي في جذب الشركات وأصحاب الأعمال.
وأشار رئيس اتحاد الشركات النرويجية سفين توري هولسيثر، إلى أن المملكة العربية السعودية شرعت في رحلة تحول ملحوظة من خلال رؤية المملكة 2030، دفعت العديد من الشركات النرويجية للتعاون مع الشركات السعودية، مضيفا أن أكثر من (100) شركة نرويجية زارت المملكة خلال العام الماضي.
3 ورش عمل
وشملت أعمال المنتدى عقد 3 ورش عمل، تناولت الأولى (استكشاف مستقبل التقنيات البحرية) الابتكار في الملاحة وأحدث الحلول في مجال التنقل البحري وإدارة الموانئ، ودور الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء في تحسين الخدمات اللوجستية.
وناقشت ورشة العمل الثانية (تربية الأحياء المائية ومزارع الأسماك)، الابتكار في تربية الأحياء المائية ومزارع الأسماك، وحلول صناعات تربية الأحياء المائية الذكية، والمراقبة الرقمية وأتمتة التغذية واستخدام البيانات البيئية.
وجاءت الورشة الأخيرة بعنوان (الاقتصاد الدائري وإزالة الكربون من الصناعة)، وتطرقت إلى تعزيز حلول الاقتصاد الدائري للصناعة والاستدامة، وإعادة تصميم الأنظمة بأكملها للقضاء على النفايات، وتقليل الانبعاثات.
يذكر أن الوفد المشارك في أعمال المنتدى من الجانب السعودي ضم قيادات من وزارات؛ التجارة، والطاقة، والاستثمار، والصناعة والثروة المعدنية، والبيئة والمياه والزراعة، والنقل والخدمات اللوجستية، والهيئة العامة للموانئ، والهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء، وصندوق الاستثمارات العامة، والمركز الوطني للتنافسية، وممثلين من اتحاد الغرف التجارية السعودية، وعدد من الشركات الوطنية.
The Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the National Competitiveness Center, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, confirmed that the Kingdom's Vision 2030, launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has brought about an unprecedented transformation in the Saudi economy. The Kingdom has implemented more than 900 legislative and regulatory reforms to build a competitive economy, in addition to launching some of the most ambitious projects in the world, which has contributed to the gross domestic product exceeding $1.3 trillion, making the Saudi economy the largest in the Middle East and the 17th largest globally.
During his participation in the "Saudi-Norwegian Business Forum" - organized by the National Competitiveness Center as part of a business visit by a Saudi trade delegation comprising 30 leaders and officials from the public and private sectors, led by Al-Qasabi - he explained that there are many similarities, including the presence of natural resources and strong communities striving to build a prosperous economy.
Enhancing Cooperation
Al-Qasabi stated - in front of more than 130 leaders from the government and private sectors of both countries who participated in the forum - that there are Norwegian companies operating in the Kingdom, and there is a desire from both sides to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of logistics, shipping, fisheries, advanced manufacturing, tourism, digitization, health, education, and creative industries, noting that trade exchange between the two countries grew by 360% during the period from 2020 to 2024, reaching $828 million.
Discussing Opportunities
For her part, Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth, stated that the forum provided Norwegian companies with the opportunity to meet with the Saudi business sector and discuss opportunities, with increasing interest from Norwegian companies to expand their operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prior to the forum's activities, the National Competitiveness Center organized a reception in collaboration with the Saudi Embassy in Oslo on the occasion of the National Day, attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Norway, Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Sharif, along with several ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Norway.
Key Reforms
During the forum, the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, Dr. Iman Al-Mutairi, reviewed the key reforms implemented to enhance the Kingdom's competitiveness and the promising opportunities in vital sectors, indicating that 1,200 regulations and guidelines have been issued and updated, contributing to making the business environment one of the leading destinations globally for attracting companies and business owners.
The President of the Norwegian Business Federation, Svein Tore Holsether, pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has embarked on a remarkable transformation journey through Vision 2030, prompting many Norwegian companies to collaborate with Saudi companies, adding that more than 100 Norwegian companies visited the Kingdom last year.
3 Workshops
The forum included three workshops. The first addressed (Exploring the Future of Marine Technologies), focusing on innovation in navigation and the latest solutions in maritime mobility and port management, as well as the role of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in improving logistics services.
The second workshop (Aquaculture and Fish Farms) discussed innovation in aquaculture and fish farming, smart aquaculture industry solutions, digital monitoring, automated feeding, and the use of environmental data.
The final workshop was titled (Circular Economy and Decarbonizing Industry), which addressed enhancing circular economy solutions for industry and sustainability, redesigning entire systems to eliminate waste, and reducing emissions.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi delegation participating in the forum included leaders from ministries such as; Commerce, Energy, Investment, Industry and Mineral Resources, Environment, Water and Agriculture, Transport and Logistics Services, the General Authority for Ports, the General Authority for Food and Drug, the Public Investment Fund, the National Competitiveness Center, representatives from the Saudi Chambers of Commerce, and several national companies.
