عقد مجلس الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية اجتماعًا عبر الاتصال المرئي، استعرض في مستهلّه التقرير الدوري المقدم من وزارة الاقتصاد والتخطيط، وتضمن تحليلًا لمستجدات الاقتصادات العالمية الكبرى، وأبرز تطورات آفاق الاقتصاد العالمي، ونظرة عامة على الاقتصاد الوطني بمختلف قطاعاته، إلى جانب التوقعات المستقبلية للاقتصاد الوطني، وأبرز الفرضيات ومحركات آفاق النمو، في ظل التوسع الذي يشهده اقتصاد المملكة للربع الخامس على التوالي، مدفوعًا بالأداء الإيجابي لجميع الأنشطة الاقتصادية وفي مقدمتها الأنشطة غير النفطية.
وناقش المجلس العرض المقدم من وزارة المالية حيال التقرير الربعي لأداء الميزانية العامة للدولة للعام المالي الحالي (2025)، الذي اشتمل على تفصيل للأداء المالي حتى نهاية الربع الثاني، ومؤشرات الإيرادات والمصروفات والدّين العام، حيث كشفت نتائج التقرير مواصلة دعم الحكومة للمشاريع التنموية والخدمية، وتنفيذ الإصلاحات الحكومية الهادفة لتحقيق الاستدامة المالية، وتنويع مصادر الدخل ضمن مستهدفات رؤية المملكة (2030).
واطّلع المجلس على العرض المقدم من الصندوق السعودي للتنمية، بالاشتراك مع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية حيال دور المساعدات الخارجية في نمو المحتوى المحلي والصادرات، الذي استعرض دور المملكة الريادي في مجالي التنمية والإغاثة، والتوزيع الجغرافي والقطاعي لإجمالي المساعدات المقدمة خارجيًا.
ونظر المجلس إلى عددٍ من الموضوعات والعروض الإجرائية المدرجة على جدول أعماله، من بينها مشروع تطوير الإطار التشريعي للإجراءات الجمركية، والهيكل التنظيمي لدارة الملك عبدالعزيز.
كما تطرق المجلس إلى التقرير النصف السنوي للجنة الوزارية لمنظومة الدعم والإعانات الاجتماعية، والتقرير الربعي لنتائج أعمال اللجنة الدائمة لمراقبة الأسعار، والنشرة الربعية لإحصاءات الرقم القياسي لأسعار العقارات، والملخص التنفيذي الشهري للتجارة الخارجية، وملخصين عن التقريرين الشهريين للرقم القياسي لأسعار المستهلك وأسعار الجملة، والتقارير الأساسية التي بُنيت عليها الملخصات.
وقد اتخذ المجلس حيال تلك الموضوعات القرارات والتوصيات اللازمة.
The Economic and Development Affairs Council held a meeting via video conference, during which it reviewed the periodic report submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning. The report included an analysis of developments in major global economies, the most significant developments in global economic outlooks, and an overview of the national economy across various sectors, along with future forecasts for the national economy and the main assumptions and drivers of growth prospects, amid the expansion being witnessed by the Kingdom's economy for the fifth consecutive quarter, driven by the positive performance of all economic activities, particularly non-oil activities.
The council discussed the presentation made by the Ministry of Finance regarding the quarterly report on the performance of the state budget for the current fiscal year (2025), which included details on financial performance up to the end of the second quarter, as well as indicators for revenues, expenditures, and public debt. The results of the report revealed the government's continued support for developmental and service projects, the implementation of government reforms aimed at achieving financial sustainability, and diversifying income sources in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision (2030).
The council reviewed the presentation made by the Saudi Fund for Development, in collaboration with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, regarding the role of foreign aid in the growth of local content and exports. This presentation highlighted the Kingdom's pioneering role in the fields of development and relief, as well as the geographic and sectoral distribution of total foreign aid provided.
The council considered a number of topics and procedural presentations listed on its agenda, including the project to develop the legislative framework for customs procedures and the organizational structure of the King Abdulaziz Foundation.
The council also addressed the semi-annual report of the ministerial committee for the social support and assistance system, the quarterly report on the results of the permanent committee for price monitoring, the quarterly bulletin of real estate price index statistics, the monthly executive summary of foreign trade, and summaries of the monthly reports on the consumer price index and wholesale prices, along with the foundational reports on which these summaries were based.
The council made the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding these topics.
