The number of point-of-sale transactions in the Kingdom during the period from July 27 to August 2, 2025, reached (244,038,000) transactions, with a value of (15,606,245,000) riyals, compared to (11,870,322,000) riyals during the same previous period.

According to the weekly bulletin from the Saudi Central Bank on point-of-sale transactions, the number of transactions in transportation was (6,616,000) with a value of (1,212,917,000) riyals, the number of transactions in health was (11,057,000) with a value of (1,028,683,000) riyals, the number of transactions in restaurants and cafes was (59,637,000) with a value of (1,902,222,000) riyals, the number of transactions in baked goods and sweets was (5,256,000) with a value of (251,903,000) riyals, the number of transactions in hotels was (1,016,000) with a value of (353,511,000) riyals, the number of transactions in food and beverages was (54,635,000) with a value of (2,344,124,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in clothing and accessories was (9,211,000) with a value of (1,118,598,000) riyals, while the number of transactions in culture and entertainment was (4,003,000) with a value of (398,845,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in professional and commercial services reached (16,279,000) with a value of (1,197,461,000) riyals, the number of transactions in electronic and electrical devices was (1,766,000) with a value of (194,603,000) riyals, the number of transactions in furniture and household supplies reached (2,868,000) with a value of (552,452,222,000) riyals, the number of transactions in construction materials was (2,562,000) with a value of (442,082,000) riyals, the number of transactions in jewelry was (331,000) with a value of (377,907,000) riyals, the number of transactions in telecommunications was (3,798,000) with a value of (193,823,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in education was (166,000) with a value of (190,034,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in public utilities and services was (767,000) with a value of (54,845,000) riyals, the number of transactions in fuel stations was (18,463,000) with a value of (1,097,439,000) riyals, the number of transactions in laundry services was (3,259,000) with a value of (67,574,000) riyals, and the number of other transactions was (42,346,000) with a value of (2,627,222,000) riyals.

At the level of cities in the Kingdom, the number of weekly point-of-sale transactions in Riyadh was (75,662,000) with a value of (5,082,730,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Mecca was (9,773,000) with a value of (646,017,000) riyals, while the number of point-of-sale transactions in Medina was (9,941,000) with a value of (632,365,000) riyals.

The number of point-of-sale transactions in Tabuk reached (5,016,000) with a value of (298,516,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Hail was (4,559,000) with a value of (276,597,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Abha was (5,152,000) with a value of (301,680,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in Buraidah was (5,373,000) with a value of (365,993,000) riyals.

The number of point-of-sale transactions in Khobar was (4,615,000) with a value of (399,834,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Dammam was (9,139,000) with a value of (698,913,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Jeddah was (28,062,000) with a value of (2,114,310,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in other cities was (22,614,000) with a value of (1,030,454,000) riyals.
