زار وزير الصحة ورعاية الأسرة وزير الكيماويات والأسمدة الهندي جيه بي نادا، الدمام والرياض، خلال الفترة من 11 إلى 13 يوليو 2025م. وركز خلال زيارته إلى السعودية على تعزيز التعاون الثنائي مع الهند في مجال الكيماويات والأسمدة، بحضور وفد رفيع المستوى، ضم وكيل الوزارة ومسؤولين كباراً آخرين من إدارة الأسمدة، ووزارة الشؤون الخارجية.
وعقد وزير الصحة الهندي اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع وزير الطاقة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان، لتعزيز سبل الشراكة الاقتصادية بين البلدين.
وأجرى وزير الصحة الهندي محادثات مع وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر الخريف، في الرياض، حول آليات تعزيز الشراكة في قطاعات الأسمدة والبتروكيماويات والأدوية، وشهد اللقاء توقيع اتفاقيات طويلة الأجل بين شركة «معادن» والشركات الهندية، IPL وKRIBHCO وCIL، لتوريد كمية معززة تبلغ 3.1 مليون طن متري من سماد فوسفات ثنائي الأمونيوم (DAP) سنوياً لمدة خمس سنوات، ابتداءً من 2025-2026، مع إمكانية التمديد لمدة خمس سنوات إضافية بموافقة متبادلة، وأكد الجانبان التزامهما بتوسيع نطاق العلاقات الثنائية لتشمل أسمدة رئيسية أخرى، مثل اليوريا، إضافة إلى سماد فوسفات ثنائي الأمونيوم (DAP)؛ بهدف تعزيز أمن الهند في مجال الأسمدة.
كما تم عقد مناقشات حول تسهيل الاستثمارات المتبادلة، مع التركيز على استكشاف فرص الاستثمار لمؤسسات القطاع العام الهندية (PSUs) في قطاع الأسمدة السعودي، والمعاملة بالمثل، والاستثمارات السعودية في الهند، إضافةً إلى ذلك، ناقش القادة سبل التعاون البحثي، لا سيما في تطوير أسمدة بديلة ومخصصة للهند لتعزيز الإنتاجية الزراعية والاستدامة.
وتم تشكيل فريق مشترك برئاسة وكيل الوزير (الأسمدة) من الجانب الهندي ونائب الوزير لشؤون التعدين بوزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بالجانب السعودي؛ لاستكشاف التعاون طويل الأمد في هذا القطاع.

The Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda, visited Dammam and Riyadh from July 11 to 13, 2025. During his visit to Saudi Arabia, he focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation with India in the field of chemicals and fertilizers, accompanied by a high-level delegation that included the Undersecretary of the Ministry and other senior officials from the Fertilizer Administration and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Indian Minister of Health held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman to enhance economic partnership between the two countries.
The Indian Minister of Health also held discussions with Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef in Riyadh regarding mechanisms to strengthen partnership in the sectors of fertilizers, petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals. The meeting witnessed the signing of long-term agreements between the company "Ma'aden" and Indian companies IPL, KRIBHCO, and CIL to supply an enhanced quantity of 3.1 million metric tons of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer annually for five years, starting from 2025-2026, with the possibility of extending for an additional five years upon mutual agreement. Both sides affirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral relations to include other key fertilizers, such as urea, in addition to Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), with the aim of enhancing India's fertilizer security.
Discussions were also held on facilitating mutual investments, focusing on exploring investment opportunities for Indian Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in the Saudi fertilizer sector, reciprocity, and Saudi investments in India. Additionally, the leaders discussed ways to collaborate on research, particularly in developing alternative and customized fertilizers for India to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
A joint team was formed, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry (Fertilizers) from the Indian side and the Deputy Minister for Mining Affairs from the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, to explore long-term cooperation in this sector.
