في خطوة لتعزيز الربط الملاحي بين السعودية والعالم، ودعم الصادرات الوطنية، وترسيخ مكانة المملكة كمركز لوجستي عالمي، أعلنت الهيئة العامة للموانئ (موانئ) عن إضافة «Sea Lead» خدمة الشحن الجديدة «5CX» إلى ميناء جدة الإسلامي.
وتعمل خدمة الشحن الجديدة على ربط ميناء جدة الإسلامي بـ10 موانئ إقليمية وعالمية، تشمل موانئ تشينغداو، شنغهاي، نينغبو، ونانشا، بالصين، ودمياط بمصر، وألياجا، إزميت، إسطنبول، مرسين، في تركيا، وكلانج الماليزي، بطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 1500 حاوية قياسية.
يأتي ذلك ضمن إستراتيجية ربط المملكة بالأسواق العالمية، اتساقاً مع مستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية بترسيخ مكانة المملكة كمركز لوجستي عالمي، ومحور ربط القارات الثلاث، ما يعزز تنافسية المملكة إقليمياً وعالمياً.
يُذكر أن ميناء جدة الإسلامي يحتل المرتبة الأولى بين موانئ البحر الأحمر لموقعه المتميز، وعدد أرصفته التي تبلغ 62 رصيفاً مُتعددة الأغراض، كما يتمتع بمكانة محورية إقليمياً وعالمياً، ودور كبير في تعزيز ريادة المملكة بالقطاع البحري.
In a move to enhance maritime connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the world, support national exports, and establish the Kingdom's position as a global logistics hub, the General Authority for Ports (Mawani) announced the addition of the new shipping service "5CX" by "Sea Lead" to the Islamic Port of Jeddah.
The new shipping service connects the Islamic Port of Jeddah with 10 regional and global ports, including the ports of Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, and Nansha in China, Damietta in Egypt, Aliaga, Izmit, Istanbul, and Mersin in Turkey, as well as Port Klang in Malaysia, with a capacity of up to 1,500 standard containers.
This comes as part of the strategy to link the Kingdom with global markets, in line with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy to establish the Kingdom as a global logistics hub and a connector of the three continents, enhancing the Kingdom's competitiveness regionally and globally.
It is worth noting that the Islamic Port of Jeddah ranks first among the Red Sea ports due to its distinguished location and its 62 multi-purpose berths, and it enjoys a pivotal position regionally and globally, playing a significant role in enhancing the Kingdom's leadership in the maritime sector.
