The number of point-of-sale transactions in the Kingdom during the period from May 11 to May 17, 2025, reached (217,622,000) transactions, with a value of (12,386,705,000) riyals, compared to (13,101,028,000) riyals in the same previous period.

According to the weekly bulletin from the Saudi Central Bank on point-of-sale transactions, the number of transactions in clothing and footwear was (5,494,000) with a value of (688,287,000) riyals, the number of transactions in construction materials was (1,652,000) with a value of (330,167,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in education was (125,000) with a value of (164,678,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in electronic and electrical devices reached (1,118,000) with a value of (153,806,000) riyals, the number of transactions at fuel stations was (16,757,000) with a value of (929,744,000) riyals, the number of transactions in health was (7,834,000) with a value of (790,199,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in furniture was (1,218,000) with a value of (261,840,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in hotels reached (619,000) with a value of (218,217,000) riyals, the number of transactions in public utilities was (724,000) with a value of (47,046,000) riyals, the number of transactions in jewelry was (227,000) with a value of (330,450,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in various goods and services was (22,718,000) with a value of (1,525,934,000) riyals.

The number of transactions in entertainment and culture reached (2,449,000) with a value of (229,483,000) riyals, the number of transactions in restaurants and cafes was (59,327,000) with a value of (1,764,003,000) riyals, the number of transactions in food and beverages was (51,044,000) with a value of (1,802,312,000) riyals, the number of transactions in communications was (1,904,000) with a value of (98,396,000) riyals, and the number of transactions in transportation was (2,821,000) with a value of (703,758,000) riyals, while the number of other transactions reached (41,591,000) with a value of (2,348,269,000) riyals.

At the level of cities in the Kingdom, the number of weekly point-of-sale transactions in Riyadh reached (70,560,000) with a value of (4,502,701,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Mecca was (8,252,000) with a value of (393,385,000) riyals, while the number of point-of-sale transactions in Medina was (8,560,000) with a value of (435,064,000) riyals.

The number of point-of-sale transactions in Tabuk reached (4,742,000) with a value of (238,062,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Hail was (3,785,000) with a value of (193,431,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Abha was (3,188,000) with a value of (153,570,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in Buraidah was (4,905,000) with a value of (291,876,000) riyals.

As for the number of point-of-sale transactions in Khobar, it reached (4,698,000) with a value of (377,152,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Dammam was (9,074,000) with a value of (640,596,000) riyals, the number of point-of-sale transactions in Jeddah reached (25,854,000) with a value of (1,748,052,000) riyals, and the number of point-of-sale transactions in other cities was (74,002,000) with a value of (3,412,816,000) riyals.
