أصدرت هيئة التأمين قراراً بإيقاف شركة المتحدة للتأمين التعاوني عن إصدار أو تجديد وثائق التأمين الإلزامي بما في ذلك (الصحي، المركبات، والتأمين على عقد العمالة المنزلية) اعتباراً من تاريخ 2025/10/27، بسبب رصد عددٍ من المخالفات ذات الصلة بالتعليمات الإشرافية والرقابية.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن هذا الإجراء يأتي تطبيقاً لما جاء في المادة (19) من نظام مراقبة شركات التأمين التعاوني الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م/32) وتاريخ 02/06/1424، وتعديلاته. مشيرة إلى أن قرار الإيقاف لا يخلي مسؤولية الشركة من التزاماتها المتعلقة بوثائق التأمين السارية والمطالبات التي قد تنشأ عنها، واتخاذ كافة الإجراءات اللازمة لعدم تأثر مصالحهم.
وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار حرصها على المساهمة في استقرار قطاع التأمين وتنظيمه والإشراف والرقابة عليه، وحماية حقوق المؤمن لهم والمستفيدين وأصحاب المصلحة.
The Insurance Authority has issued a decision to suspend Al-Muttahida Cooperative Insurance Company from issuing or renewing mandatory insurance policies, including (health, vehicles, and domestic worker contracts) effective from 27/10/2025, due to the detection of several violations related to supervisory and regulatory instructions.
The authority clarified that this action comes in accordance with Article (19) of the Cooperative Insurance Companies Control System issued by Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 02/06/1424, and its amendments. It pointed out that the suspension decision does not absolve the company of its obligations related to existing insurance policies and any claims that may arise from them, and to take all necessary measures to ensure that their interests are not affected.
The authority indicated that this action is part of its commitment to contribute to the stability of the insurance sector, its organization, supervision, and regulation, and to protect the rights of the insured, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
