تراجع مؤشر الدولار خلال تعاملاته اليوم (لثلاثاء)، عقب إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي «دونالد ترمب» وقف إطلاق النار بين إيران وإسرائيل، ما أدى إلى تحسن معنويات المستثمرين وتزايد الإقبال على المخاطرة.
وانخفض مؤشر الدولار الذي يقيس أداء العملة الخضراء أمام سلة من ست عملات رئيسية بنسبة 0.35% إلى 98.07 نقطة.
وارتفع اليورو بنسبة 0.2% إلى 1.1597 دولار، والجنيه الإسترليني بنسبة 0.65% إلى 1.3608 دولار، فيما انخفضت العملة الأمريكية أمام نظيرتها اليابانية بنسبة 0.75% إلى 145.02 ين.
وأعلن «ترمب» في منشور عبر منصة «تروث سوشيال»، اتفاقا لوقف إطلاق النار دخل حيز التنفيذ بين إسرائيل وإيران، وحث البلدين على عدم انتهاكه وانتهاء الصراع الذي استمر 12 يومًا.
ومما زاد الضغط على الدولار، تصريحات عضو مجلس محافظي الاحتياطي الفيدرالي، «ميشيل بومان»، بشأن استعدادها لدعم خفض الفائدة في اجتماع يوليو بشرط بقاء الضغوط التضخمية عند مستويات منخفضة.
في حين يترقب المستثمرون شهادة رئيس الفيدرالي «جيروم باول» أمام الكونجرس، حيث سيكون التركيز على توقعاته لمسار أسعار الفائدة في ظل الهدوء الجيوسياسي وتطورات النمو والتضخم.

The dollar index declined during its trading today (Tuesday), following the announcement by U.S. President "Donald Trump" of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which led to improved investor sentiment and increased risk appetite.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, fell by 0.35% to 98.07 points.
The euro rose by 0.2% to $1.1597, and the British pound increased by 0.65% to $1.3608, while the U.S. currency dropped against its Japanese counterpart by 0.75% to 145.02 yen.
Trump announced in a post on the "Truth Social" platform a ceasefire agreement that has come into effect between Israel and Iran, urging both countries not to violate it and to end the conflict that lasted for 12 days.
Adding to the pressure on the dollar were comments from Federal Reserve Board member "Michelle Bowman" regarding her readiness to support a rate cut in the July meeting, provided inflationary pressures remain at low levels.
Meanwhile, investors are awaiting testimony from Federal Reserve Chair "Jerome Powell" before Congress, where the focus will be on his expectations for the path of interest rates amid geopolitical calm and developments in growth and inflation.
